Amber mid brown coloured and fruity with a little spiced flavour. A hint of bitterness in a crisp full malt finish. imdownthepub (15160) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2010
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Amber with white head. There is initially a deep, caramalised malt flavour, a touch sweetish with a fruity touch then followed by a light, slightly drying hop. Reasonable. RichardGretton (4772) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2010

Winter Beer Festival, 2010. Amber beer with a plainly hopped aroma and a bitter and gently roasted flavour. Overall a nice bitter.
Bottle. Amber brown with a large off-white rocky foam and some floaties. Aromas are caramel malts with citrus and spicy hops. Flavours are jammy sweet citrus and malts with a dry, hoppy fruity finish. Decent.

Bottled A reddy amber coloured beer with a minimal off white head. Good fruity jammy hops throughout with an excellent balancing maltiness. A very well put together tasty beer.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. I thought this was an excellent, tasty, Best Bitter. Quite deep copper colour. Spicy hops in the aroma, with some resinous touches. Citrus and fruity malt in the flavour. Good balance. Full, quite rich mouthfeel. Not much more I could ask of a Best Bitter.

Gravity Cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Sweet malts. Not too much happening here. Slightly rough bitterness. Middle of the road. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - MAY 1, 2006
Cask @ Reading 06: Amber in colour. Nice hoppy grassy notes. Some simple citrus there too. Good malt depth to back it up. harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Pale chestnut. I like this bitter. Malty, fruity, good balance, nice mouth feel. Good dry finish. Full, rounded. One of the better bitters at the festival
