leaparsons (10797) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2008
Bottle. Golden with a white head. Aromas are zesty citrus with yeast and peppery notes. Flavours are biscuit malts but mostly fruity with citrus sourness. Creamy with floral notes. Dry and hoppy on the finish.

vintagefergie (21) - Worcestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2007
Good summer beer. Grassy, citris aroma. fresh hops and nicely balanced ale. Nice stuff

harrisoni (19403) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2007
Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2007. Golden beer with thin lasting off white head. Grassy grapefruit hop aroma. Good subtle astringency. Good drinkable golden beer. Nice grassy hop finish, easy drinking.

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2007
A Mes rate:
Cask at The Churchill Tavern. Iron filings and sherbert aroma. Golden colour with lots of lace. Flavour is more iron and slight malt with a tobacco finish. Pretty rank.

imdownthepub (15379) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2006
Cask Conditioned at The Oliver Cromwell, St Ives, Cambs. Golden beer with heavy bubbly head. Interesting and a little more complex for a Golden Ale, dry dusty hops, leafy and with an agreeable hint of stinging nettles. Dry and bitter but there is a vague metallic flavour within, a little like iron tablets. A very good beer.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2006
UPDATED: JUL 17, 2011 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A golden coloured beer with some citric hop in the aroma and maybe a little spiciness. The taste is nice and dry and lemony hops again. Decent stuff which apparently was very good on Day 1. (6,3,7,3,14). (3.3)

Cask conditioned - handpump - Fox and Hounds Northampton. This time the beer seemed so much fresher. The hops were more pronounced in both nose and taste. Lots of grapefuit sharpness. Very tasty and easy to quaff. (7,3,8,3,15) (3.6) Score is an average of the two.
Subsequent ratings scored 2.8 and 3.4. Score unaltered
