Aroma is very mineral but the hops are pretty decent. Very pale gold colour with a thin white head. Good earthy but pale malt flavour, enjoyable bright hoppage and sadly, a faint meaty note. Solid lightly bitter finish. Not bad.

Cask, gravity, at The Nevill Arms, Leicestershire. This was one of the pubs on the excellent Welland Valley Beer Festival tour with ten pubs in total and about ~200 beers on offer, 11th June 2011 Pours gold with a filmy white head. Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Bright gold with a white foam. Aromas are citrus with yeast and prickly notes. Flavours are resinous citrus with apricot and soft malts. Hints of metal towards the finish. A decent session ale.
