Poured a clean, clear light gold with a light head and minimum lacing. Aroma was a mix of the hops and malts with slight pungency. Taste was predominately of hops with a nice malty backbone. Very easy drinking. Palate was decent but nothing to write home about. Overall, a clean, drinkable pilsner.

tmoreau (4298) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAY 10, 2017
On tap at Maduro during the 2017 Madison Craft Beer Week. Dispensed to a shaker displaying a hazed, gold color, with a fair layer of white froth, and spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was typical lager/pils scent, and some grass & greenery. Light to medium bodied, with fair carbonation, the taste was similar, contributed a bit of soapiness, then moderate, earthy bitterness. Okay sessionability.

Bottle. Pours full gold with white head. Orange citrus aroma with some light bread notes. Bread malt with orange citrus and pleasant, dry, bitter finish. Medium body. Well-balanced.

deyholla (11503) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the Rigby. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of grass and hay with a slight peppery note. Flavor combines grass, straw and hay with a slight peppery note underlying.

Keg @ The Rigby. Gold pour with a small head. Aroma has some peppery, earthy character. Delicate flavors. Generally dry, grassy character. Soft hay. Relatively aggressive, peppery bitter finish. Light body, bright carb. A bit disjointed, but still pretty solid.

Not my favorite Potosi beer. Not a fan of pilsner beer in general. Has the pilsner taste. I have a Czech friend who really enjoys. She claims it embodies a true Czech pilsner.

Drake (13649) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2016
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Wauwatosa, 10/22/16. Slightly hazy golden, thin fizzy white head, decent retention. Aroma of grassy hops and mild pale malt. The taste is herbal, grassy hops, mild pale malt. Thin, lingering bitterness, a bit off balance.

On tap at Old Fashioned. A bready grassy slightly metallic pilsner. Decent very drinkable

12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Janesville, WI, served slightly warmer than fridge temp from a König Pils glass. Moderate white head, quickly diminishing atop a very clear gold body...pleasant light grassy hop aroma, light touches of honey and vanilla...body mostly sweet at the front, some bitterness running throughout and growing nicely towards the finish, which is slightly mineralic, very faintly smoky, and dry...mostly this is a nice malt-heavy experience with the hops definitely playing second fiddle; it is a bit too sweet to make it a favorite, but I’ve drunk quite a bit of it over the past couple of years anyway as it’s typically cheaper than most of the other decent pils I can get around here. Eh, money.

JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 14, 2016
Pale golden to straw in color. Moderate, fairly stable, white head. Grass, plastic and hint of floral hops. A few dots of lace. Fairly sweet in the start, with some corn sugars and hint of pale malt. Moderate bitterness return mid to late swallow. Close, but missing in the clean, crisp malt department. 12/10
