Not my favorite Potosi beer. Not a fan of pilsner beer in general. Has the pilsner taste. I have a Czech friend who really enjoys. She claims it embodies a true Czech pilsner. JasonKnill (7) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 5, 2016 does not count
A fresh czech pils with soft citrus notes. Im not a big pils guy but this is easy drinking. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAR 1, 2010
On draught at the Potosi brewpub in Southwestern Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden yellow colored brew, some carbonation bubbles with a thick white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt with grassy hops,a hint of white pepper and crisp crystal malt. Taste is light to medium bodied, sharp grassy hop bitterness with golden grain malt and some extra carbonation. Finish is semi-dry, grassy hop bitterness that slowly disappears. Much hopper and less fruity than the regular Potosi pilsener. Definitely a solid Czech style pilsener. steelers (35) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Nice clean and refreshing Pilsener. Golden in color, clear, minimal head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, Overall I really enjoyed this beer. I’m surprised it isn’t rated much higher. radagast83 (8193) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 21, 2014
12oz bottle brought back from the Midwest. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of biscuit, malt, some light earthy hops. Flavor was crisp lagered beer - sweet malts. Pretty good, easy to drink and despite it being a bit high, sessionable.

12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Janesville, WI, served slightly warmer than fridge temp from a König Pils glass. Moderate white head, quickly diminishing atop a very clear gold body...pleasant light grassy hop aroma, light touches of honey and vanilla...body mostly sweet at the front, some bitterness running throughout and growing nicely towards the finish, which is slightly mineralic, very faintly smoky, and dry...mostly this is a nice malt-heavy experience with the hops definitely playing second fiddle; it is a bit too sweet to make it a favorite, but I’ve drunk quite a bit of it over the past couple of years anyway as it’s typically cheaper than most of the other decent pils I can get around here. Eh, money. Carlisle (781) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Bottle. Pours full gold with white head. Orange citrus aroma with some light bread notes. Bread malt with orange citrus and pleasant, dry, bitter finish. Medium body. Well-balanced. CanIHave4Beers (4194) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Pours a very pale golden with many effervescent bubbles. The head is of a medium size, retains it’s self well, and leaves a nice lace on the glass. The aroma is fairly faint but has notes of fresh hay, wildflowers, and a light toastiness. The beer has a bright malty flavor, very clean, very crisp, and moderately dry with a nice mild dose of spicy hops. There is a sort of a perfumey character to the flavor of this beer that throws it off a tad, but overall I like the flavor of this beer quite a bit.. The beer finishes a bit watery but the carbonation is soft and very pleasant. deyholla (11910) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Sampled from the tap at the Rigby. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of grass and hay with a slight peppery note. Flavor combines grass, straw and hay with a slight peppery note underlying. Atom (2535) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 16, 2011
12oz bottle pours a clear straw in color with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, grains, malt, and hops. Taste is very light, hops, grains, malt, slightly floral. Crisp, clean, and refreshing. Pretty nice!
