Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, bakers cocoa and light coffee with a smooth lingering roasty finish. BVery (11494) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle. Wow - solid brew from Potosi, truthfully I’m pleasantly surprised. Soft roast with coffee and some mild sweet chocolate. Lighter palate. Good stuff. upaboveit (7) - - DEC 24, 2012 does not count
This is a beer that you can drink while enjoying some good tunes, and if you fall asleep and your beer has become warm it also tastes good that way as well. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2012
On tap at 8th Street Ale House. Dark brown with ruby lowlights and a creamy thin tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, oatmeal and light coffee. Creamy body tastes of dark malts, chocolate, coffee and mild dark fruits. A tad thin but decent. richlikebeer (839) - Easton, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 3, 2012
This is a surprisingly great porter..dark dark body, nice mocha colored lacing...lots of coffee in both the nose and flavor, combined with some burnt Malta and tailing off to a milk chocolate finish...very smooth body...just good.

Opaque walnut brown with a small light tan head. Aroma is malty sweet with a bit of vanilla and roasted coffee. Flavor is dark roasted coffee and malt with a slight nutty sweetness. Finish is a short burst of light hops bitterness and almost charred malt. Medium bodied and creamy on the palate with a nice tingle of carbonation. A little shallow for a porter but still a very nice nice drink. durhambeer (2585) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 24, 2012
Bottle thanks to CanIHave4Beers. Pours dark brown with light showing through the edges. No much head. But the nose and taste! Hello there. Graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallow. Add some peanut butter and this sucker is a s’more. Caramel notes as well. Sweet rather than roasty for a porter, but done well. Tasty. Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Bottled. Poured clear, garnet-tinted cola brown with a short, sticky beige head. The aroma picked up sweet vanilla over roasted black and coffee malts.. touches of licorice too.. well-presented. The flavor found well-roasted chocolate, coffee, and licorice notes at the core.. vanilla and charred roast laced throughout.. finished dry and roasty, with a hit of acidity. Medium-bodied at most on the palate, with moderate carbonation.. good balance throughout. This was surprisingly good. dekester1 (373) - Town of Maple Creek, Wisconsin, USA - APR 19, 2012
Poured a nice very deep red with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was nice mix of sweet malts with light coffee roast and prune hues. Taste is mainly of malts - roast and coffee/prune light hues with a nice smooth light hop finish. Palate was very nice with good viscosity. Overall, an extremely nice porter from the foks at good ole Potosi! lawman357 (125) - Missouri, USA - FEB 11, 2012
Lovely, lighter porter. Aroma carries light chocolate and bitter. Lovely creamy, maltiness in the mouth with the slightly bitter chocolate coming through.
