12oz bottle pours a clear Amber/orange with a small white head. Yeasty caramel malt aroma, with citrus and cider. Taste of stale oat bread and malt, too sweet caramel, and a stranger bitterness. Gross.

Pour from the bottle is clear golden amber in color, the aroma is malts almost like oatmeal, taste is malty hints of Carmel and strong wheat/grain flavor, finish is mildly sweet. Not sure ale is an appropriate label

This is not a good beer, let’s just get that out of the way. It is sweet and wierdly fruity, sort of vaguelly hoppy and all kinds of strange tasting. It is orange and very slightly hazed w/ a quickly dissipating head of mixed bubbles. Smells of cherry or something kind of like cherry and a bit of citurs but it’s not as good as that sounds. This is a little sticky and heavy across the palate w/ moderate carbonation and finishes w/ lingering sugar sweetness and some earthy bitterness. I am glad that I only got one bottle of this one.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2014 12 oz. bottle poured to a goblet, showing a clear, orangey gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white head foam that quickly diminished to light film, and an almost non-existent ring, with some spotty lacing. The nose was light grain, with light caramel & stone fruit sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste combined sweetness & tartness with a moderate, earthy & rind-like bitterness that together lingered into the finish in a manner not sure of direction, and not totally agreeable on the palate.

Bottle. Light copper with small off white head. Aroma of malt sweetness, biscuit and caramel. Medium body, caramel, and a sweet finish.

Pours a clear light amber. Small creamy white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Caramel, bready, touch of fruitiness. Medium body. Very smooth. Flavor is also sweet malty. Caramel and bready matching aroma. Some earthiness/grain shows up more on the backend. Light toasty dryness and light earthy bitterness, touch of grain spiciness. Nice drinkability. Nothing exciting, However its Pleasant and tasty. Would have again.

Aroma is more hops than malt. Nice medium body with a malty profile. Finishes with a crisp bite, just dry enough to go back for more.

From a 12 oz poured in a snifter. Pours clear bronze. Fizzy sweet malt aroma. Flavor is crisp and malty but still refreshing. Very appropriately hopped. One of the best English IPA’s I’ve had.
