One of my favorite Potosi beers. Darker beer with a surprisingly great taste. This is my go to beer for Potosi on tap. lukeberg (1) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 17, 2017 does not count
Tried and true one of my favorites. Smooth English Style Ale boasting the complex flavors of roasted caramel malts perfectly balanced with Golding Hops HopsGuru6 (13) - - NOV 27, 2016
Aroma: caramel, roasty, citrus.
Taste: light sweetness, lightly bitter.
This is one of my favorite amber or English style ales. It smells so delightful! Very complex and flavorful, while being pleasantly refreshing. mongoose33 (2) - - JUL 23, 2012 does not count
Shocked it isn’t seen as better by more people. On tap, this is, to quote the late John Denver, "almost heaven."

Sweet sassy molasses cave malt good very drinkable honey colored easy finish not too bad. pkbites (946) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Dark amber pour with a beige white head. Some lacing on the glass. Light bakery/bready aroma. Flavor is of fresh biscuits, malt, and toasted caramel. Thick, creamy, and buttery finish. Hops make a brief appearance at the end during the swallow. This looks okay, smells okay, and tastes okay, but the finish really brings it home. This is FAR better than I expected, and MUCH better than some other offering from Potosi. eworkman1 (50) - - MAR 9, 2014
Aroma is more hops than malt. Nice medium body with a malty profile. Finishes with a crisp bite, just dry enough to go back for more. DraftGuide5 (4) - Hazel Green, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 17, 2016 does not count
Potosi Cave Ale is a darker beer, I?m not a big fan of dark beer but this is one of my favorites
