12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, served cold in a Flying Fish pint glass. Can’t believe I haven’t rated this, have had it on draught and in bottles a dozen times or more over the past 4 years. Well, nobody’s perfect. Anyway it pours a rather cloudy apple cider color and texture, with a smallish decaying white head that leaves thick lacing...a bit of resin, some overripe fruit (mango, orange) in the slightly heady nose...on the tongue, very juicy, moderately acidic - grapefruit juice and a bit of lemonade is what I’m most reminded of, with fair bitterness throughout and slightly more at the finish...full, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, moderate to slightly strong carbonation, a bit woody, almost cardboard-y at the finish. While certainly not a *great* IPA this is a real easy-drinker and has jus the right level of juiciness-bitterness ratio for me, and it seems to have been on sale more often than comparable examples lately. Good ol’ Potosi. HopsGuru6 (13) - - JAN 1, 2017
A citrus and hop forward beer with a nice bitter taste. One of the most refreshing IPA’s I’ve encountered. Akirschbaum (18) - Glen Haven, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2016
My favorite IPA. Perfect citrus accents. Bitter finish yet very appetizing. Comparable to Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA yet more citrus accents. AleWarden8 (1) - - NOV 21, 2016 does not count
Potosi Snake Hollow IPA is my favorite beer from Potosi. It doesn’t overwhelm you with bitterness, but has just enough in the finish. rosenbergh (11681) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2016

Clear deep golden color with a small bubbly white head.
Sweet caramel malt and candy hops in the aroma.
The flavor is sweet candy hops, mild bitterness and caramel malt.
Really sweet... mediocre. Boring.
12 oz bottle poured hazy dark amber with a medium off-white head and nice lacing. Aromas of citrus, caramel, pine, and cereal. Flavor is medium bitter with hints of sweetness. Troupis (261) - - APR 13, 2016
Standard recipe middle safe conservative inoffensive IPA. Too much lager for me too little pine/bitter hops. I could go to any Rock Bottom chain restaurant and find this.
Still drinkable so giving a C. Just not playing the same game as IPAs I now expect.
Bottle in Wisconsin.

12fl oz bottle poured into a Dogfish Head IPA glass. Golden Amber with a tall white head. Aroma is grapefruit, cereal, and candy. Flavor is more of the same with small hops kick at the end. Finish is lasting bitter.

Pour is a clear copper with a average white head. Aroma is more of a sweet malt and a herbal hop. Flavor is more of a dryer malt with again a very mild almost minor hop. It was not a sweet malt bomb like I thought it was going to be but in the world of IPA’s this would be way far down the list of ones to try. Really almost no noticeable hops are present. twindadplus2 (728) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2015
bottle. Pours golden orange with a decent sized white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is piney hops, light citrus and a hint of malt at the end. Light to medium bodied with a short, piney finish. Not bad. I would definitely have another..
