0,33l beugel bij de trinkgut in kleve vandaan. Bruin met een lichte schuimkraag. Geur is karamel met geroosterd brood, heeft ook iets weg van amandelen. Smaak is bitterzoet redelijk droog mondgevoel. Drinkt aardig door, geen verklaard bier. bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2014
33cl fliptop bb10/2014, danke idiosynkrasie. Grainy dark amber pour, releasing immediate roast bread crust aromas and cultivated proteins, a richly smeared Landbrot. Taste opens up to dry caramel and more bread crust, nutty aromas, on a mostly dry palate, a somewhat soggy mid slump. Full of plainspoken character within its modest style, in that respect on par with the Münsterländers of the region I’ve been told. - Very surprised and glad to notice Harpoon did a collaborative retake of this. Representative of a lesser known German lager style of which I haven’t had enough examples to judge whether this one is true to its style or not. Loose, off-white head, colour a deep, cristal clear amber. Malty aroma, caramel, nuts, even a smoky accent, taste nutty, low carbonation, finish medium long and quite bitterish from hops.
