Had this sat at the camper, Landsmeer, Nr Amsterdam, Netherlands, 22-06-10 Pours amber almost that classic English bitter amber colour there is an off white head. There is a softness in the mouth, and back to the UK bitter’s its actually not unlike a UK bitter in tastes also, some minerally flavours in mouth a bit of caramel, its simple but fine. clear brown, smooth light brown head. head goes away quickly.
mild aroma of caramel, nuts, faint malts, very faint flowery or citrussy sourness, could easily be from hops.
flavor is mild malty, nutty, faint caramelly, good balance, ends with a pleasing nutty dark caramelly bitterness that morphs into a bitterhoppy finish. very good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle bought and drank in Beckum. Light amber brown color. Earthy, chocolate malts but not too sweet. Has a good dryness coming from hopping and roasted malts. Very nice. A good dunkel that is quite drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased @ Kaufland, Dortmund Germany. Pours a copper color with a decent head. No real lacing. Nose is roasted malts, some barely, and corn. Taste is enticingly smooth and decent. Nice bitter ends surround a nutty core, roasted, and a little chewy. Decent overall blend in the palate leaves this as "getting better." I wouldn’t mind stocking up on a 6er of it as it’s so cheap here in Germany.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fine looking copper pour with a lingering off-white head. Pretty mild aroma, brown toast and subtle herbal hops. A hint of fruit as well, maybe apricot. The flavor is very nicely balanced on this beer. The hops aren’t really pushing the envelope in any way, but they pair very nicely with the bready malt quality present. Hops are mostly herbal. Again a hint of fruit near the finish, but doesn’t really change the overall flavor much. The finish could be a little cleaner, but otherwise this thing tastes good. Relatively full mouthfeel, which works well with the flavors. Pretty good.

Die kleine Pott ´s ist ein schönes Bier für den Feierabend. Das Bier ist naturtüb, vollmundig, leicht gehopft gar nicht malzig und sooooo lecker.
Ein Bier, das auch Frauen mögen würden.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Grainy nose with a bready roasted touch, some fine subtle hops, a little sugar and a little hint of fruits. Quite sweet flavor with bready malts, a fruity hint and a decent bitterness. Quite effervescent, medium to full body. A nice landbier. 091007
