Swing top bottle, label says 4,8% alc. Copper brown, small off white head. Aroma has caramel, sweetish, with candy. Taste is smooth, sweetish, with little carbonization. A bit cassis-like, like red berries. kjc51478 (441) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - JAN 13, 2011
330ml Bottle. Pours a pleasant copper brown color with very little head. Aroma is weak but mostly sweet and little earthy. Taste is very weak - mostly candy sweetness with an ever so slight floral hop flavor. The weakest aspect of this beer was the palate and finishing. Vitually no carbonation to speak of, and what there was resembled soda pop fizz. The body was extreme light and had almost no aftertaste. ha1ag (897) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2010
Bottled, thanks Ulf. Amber colour, thick fluffy white head. Grainy nose. Aroma is malts and grains. Flavour is heavier, malts, more grains and some roasted sugar and hoppy tones. Excellent, well balanced beer. Bierkrug (2129) - - OCT 26, 2010

Bottle at home. Clear deep orange pour with a creamy off-white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of malts with resin, sugar and wood. Flavor is sweet malty, somewhat bitter and quite full bodied. Syrupy texture and low carbonation. Fin (10470) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2010
Had this sat at the camper, Landsmeer, Nr Amsterdam, Netherlands, 22-06-10 Pours amber almost that classic English bitter amber colour there is an off white head. There is a softness in the mouth, and back to the UK bitter’s its actually not unlike a UK bitter in tastes also, some minerally flavours in mouth a bit of caramel, its simple but fine. clear brown, smooth light brown head. head goes away quickly.
mild aroma of caramel, nuts, faint malts, very faint flowery or citrussy sourness, could easily be from hops.
flavor is mild malty, nutty, faint caramelly, good balance, ends with a pleasing nutty dark caramelly bitterness that morphs into a bitterhoppy finish. very good. KyotoLefty (10193) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 20, 2010
Bottle bought and drank in Beckum. Light amber brown color. Earthy, chocolate malts but not too sweet. Has a good dryness coming from hopping and roasted malts. Very nice. A good dunkel that is quite drinkable. BeerBlockaid (683) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Purchased @ Kaufland, Dortmund Germany. Pours a copper color with a decent head. No real lacing. Nose is roasted malts, some barely, and corn. Taste is enticingly smooth and decent. Nice bitter ends surround a nutty core, roasted, and a little chewy. Decent overall blend in the palate leaves this as "getting better." I wouldn’t mind stocking up on a 6er of it as it’s so cheap here in Germany.
