Pours hazy brick red with a yellow-white head. Smells like raisins, prunes, and herbal hops. Almost a hint of mint? Some caramel. Incredibly soft texture, like milk. Tastes like a soggy caramel biscuit, and dark fruit rounds it out. Herbal finish.

Appearance of dark amber to chestnut color, with a light ring of head (but as a hand-pulled beer there isn’t likely to be much head anyway). Fruity front, with some grape, plum, prune. Aroma notes of pretzel bread. Moderately oily body. Warms well. A light acidity is apparent, and there is a rough spot at the finish, but the good caramels resonate at the end. Interesting beer. Hand-pull at brewery.
