Here’s a beer that is identifiably on the hoppy spectrum, perhaps an APA or an IPA one might say, but laced with that East Coast sensibility by which there’s citrus that isn’t in-your-face grapefruit, and it is juicy but still resonant with malts. Fine drinking. Hits heavier at 6.5%. On tap at Bidwell Tavern, Coventry, CT. egg (407) - USA - APR 11, 2017
Pours cloudy apple cider with big white head. Nose is metallic, lagery. Taste is malt forward, sweet, some citrus, herbal, spice. It's not bad but not sure what to make of it.
