COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Transatlantic Pale brings a little British reserve to the somewhat brash US pale ales. Dry hopped to maximise the fruity aromatics while keeping the bitterness in check and the finish clean, this remarkable beer stimulates the mind and loosens the tongue. In Cervisia Veritas.

Bottle. Pours pale gold, no real head. Aroma is light malty, a bit cardboardy and musty, pine and light citrus hop. Body is light medium, texture is thin, slightly oily, soft carbonation. finish is lightly bitter and a bit messy for a simple pale ale.

Copper colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some piney, resinous hop. Some caramel malts too.

Butelka 330ml. Zloty kolor z biala ,nikla piana, ktora natychmiast redukuje sie do obreczy. W aromacie mix cytrusow i owocow tropikalnych, troche karmelu i rodzynek. W smaku goryczkowe, oleiste lecz niestety wodniste. Cytrusy z grejpfrutowym albedo i owoce tropikalne z mango, marakuja na pierwszym planie. Karmel w tle z ciastkami i jablkiem.

Bottle, ASDA, Oadby. Golden with an off white head. Light toffee and multigrain with sudsy oranges. Sour notes. Nutty. Some citrus. Damp cardboard. Forgettable.

330ml dark bottle, unfiltered, from Asda. Gushed a bit on opening. Contains Chinook, Palisade and Citra hops with Pale, Cara, Munich, and Wheat malts. Aroma is American citric hops, but not girly or zingy, there’s also sweaty leather note which adds interest, though I’m wondering how attractive it is. Watery mouthfeel. Neutral to dry. All in all I’m not getting much from this. Clearly they’ve tried with the range of malts and hops, but it doesn’t quite pull together for me. Tastes a little blurred and messy.

Who decided this is a Blond? Unequivocally replicates a late ’90’s attempt at a craft beer with its malty fruity beery aroma and flavour chasing the approval of everybody and finding the lowest common denominator, which is why it’s not horrible. Not quite as dull as Doom Bar, but getting there

Bottle from Asda, Washington. Golden with a thin white head. It has a citrus and gentle pine flavour with toffee and citrus on the smooth bitter-sweet finish. Good.
