Clear dark amber with a large lingering off white head. Nose is citrus and tropical fruit. Lightly sweet with a medium juicy citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium with active carbonation and a ongoing bitter finish. 8-/4/7+/3+/15

650ml brown bottle. Clear orange in the glass. It has a small sticky white head. Aromas of grapefruit, orange peel and some tropical notes. Taste has mild caramel sweetness, grapefruit and tropical hop notes. Finishes malty. Decent.

DuffMan (10983) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2017
Bottle, shared with my brothers-in-law. Medium/dark orange, off white head. Citrus peel with earthy undertones, caramel malt offers medium sweetness, balanced bitterness. nice.

DeanF (2796) - Quebec, CANADA - DEC 31, 2016
Nice antique white head, strong carbonation, light copper body. Good dry malted grapefruit on the nose, grain and more citrus, balanced. Muddy flavour though, some malts and not enough hops and the finish isn’t crisp enough. Plainly okay.

UXO (1896) - CANADA - NOV 9, 2016
Appearance: clear pale amber with two fingers of rocky ivory head, excellent retention and moderate chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: pine, tropical fruit, citrus, caramel and pale malt, earthy, grassy. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (4/5) I’d bet good money that the only difference between this and Old Jalopy is the hopping - I’m guessing the malt bill is essentially identical. And,come right down to it, there’s not all that much difference in the hopping: many of the same elements are present, just in differing intensities. On the other hand, the differences are all to the good, so I’ve got high hopes for the next Powell Street beer in my rotation (the Hopdemonium IPA). (15/20)

reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 12, 2016
473ml can pours a pale amber color with 2 fingers of off-white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus with hints of pine and tropical fruits with a touch of caramel. Taste is a tropical fruit and caramel malty sweetness with a citrus and light pine hop bitterness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a nicely balanced and tasty pale ale that should be tasted. Recommended.

teamrunkle (409) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
Amber, lacing. Little carbonation. Delicious, juicy. Wish it was more carbonated.
