COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the unpredictable dive of the east van crow, this Brown Porter will shock your senses with an explosive bomb of flavour. Hidden behind the slight upfront hop bitterness is a deep roasted malt character with hints of caramel, toffee, chocolate, and nuts. Your taste buds won’t be disappointed.

Boring porter, light fruity style with a bit of cocoa, toffee, nuts. Light sweetness, watery body for the style. Bitterness is moderate but is actually quite nice. Floral hops, light roasted malts.

473ml can. Deep brown with ruby highlights, clear and sediment free. Holds a tight beige head. Aroma - molasses, raisin, toffee, chocolate. Taste - chocolate, toffee, raisin. Dry finish with a little dark malt bitterness that trails off. Drinks pretty nice, I like this.

Dark. Molasses with cocoa, sweet, caramel, light toasted malts. A bit too sweet for me. Full bodied. Decent.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Hoff. Dark brown with amber highlights and a dense tan head. Choaolate and light coffee, cola and dark fruits. Solid porter.

Even when poured warm it comes out with a minimal soda-pop head. Lighter black body. Aroma of burnt barley and some plastics, fusels. Flavour is light burnt barley with some molasses sweetness. Watery on the mouth. This is not a good showing at all.

Pours dark like coffee with a thin cream color head. Has a roasted sweet aroma, taste of roasted coffee with a malty finish. Not too bad for a porter. I usually stick with the ipa’s by this was ok.

Not offensive, but dull. Salt level is good, looks good, body is okay, flavour just a little lacklustre. leather, earthy, chocolate,

Pours deep opaque brown, almost black, with small beige head that leaves some lacing. Nose is roasted malts and nuts. On the palate, this rounds out with milk chocolate, caramel, hints of dark fruit, grains and even a stray banana note. All this comes in a light body, so it’s an exemplary porter, tasty without being filling and modest ABV.

Deep brown, fast fading tan head.Nose of light roast, dark fruits.Vague fore & mis, something off, thin bodied medium roast in finish.
