Even when poured warm it comes out with a minimal soda-pop head. Lighter black body. Aroma of burnt barley and some plastics, fusels. Flavour is light burnt barley with some molasses sweetness. Watery on the mouth. This is not a good showing at all. Reeko (50) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 19, 2015
Pours dark like coffee with a thin cream color head. Has a roasted sweet aroma, taste of roasted coffee with a malty finish. Not too bad for a porter. I usually stick with the ipa’s by this was ok. gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2015

Hazy dark reddish brown color, tan head with lacing. Sweet, malty, light roasted taste. Toffee aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Roasted, toffee scent.
Not offensive, but dull. Salt level is good, looks good, body is okay, flavour just a little lacklustre. leather, earthy, chocolate, Pumpkin87 (248) - - MAY 10, 2015
Pours deep opaque brown, almost black, with small beige head that leaves some lacing.
Nose is roasted malts and nuts. On the palate, this rounds out with milk chocolate, caramel, hints of dark fruit, grains and even a stray banana note. All this comes in a light body, so it’s an exemplary porter, tasty without being filling and modest ABV.

Light brown, sweet chocolatey nose. Sweet front, touch of chocolate, dash of fudginess. Not the greatest character for me. culchiem (3978) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2014
Bottle from gnashville, ta. Brownish black with a thin head. Very light caramel aroma. Flavor is much stronger, smoked, roasted, malty raisin. Very drinkable. vadie (1256) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 10, 2014
Noir avec un col moyen marron. L’arôme du malt rôti. Le goût es du malt rôti avec un peu du chocolat. Il est un peu amer en bouche du début au fin. stantheman (1050) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 21, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 On tap at The Alibi Room in Gastown. Almost black, with a nice tan head. Heavily and nicely roasted malts are at the forefront, with both chocolate and coffee impressions. Yep!
And July 12, 2014 on tap at Earl’s in Yaletown. Still a very good porter. Picked up licorice notes that I missed at Alibi Room. 3.6.
