Rated on 9-21-2013 at 800 Degree Three Fires (Fort Wayne, IN) This draft beer has a small tan head that mostly diminishes, opaque black body and spotty lacing. The aroma is roasted, chocolate, malt, and earthy. The flavor is roasted, coffee, chocolate, earthy, and malt. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, a very quaffable beer with a nice easy flavor. It is worth trying and a beer I would drink again. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2014
2oz taster on tap, at HopCat Broad Ripple. Very dark brown color, kind of clear around the edges. Minimal ring of off-white head. Leaves good spread of lace, though. Great bigger coffee up front, some dark chocolate, mild roast malt. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet -- a lot less sweet than expected for a sweet stout, a good bit of earthy hops on this guy. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of chewy lighter carbonation. Lightly crisp, light slick finish. Great milk stout, I’m a fan. Itzjerm (3074) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Pretty bitter for a milk stout. But a nice bitter beer with sweetness over time. Nice head.

On tap, poured into a shaker. Chocolate and coffee are very noticeable in the aroma with a touch of cream. It’s a very dark, black body with an abundant tan head that coats the glass with lots of messy lace. It’s a medium high sweetness with a touch of bitter at the finish. The body is on the low side of full, but robust none-the-less, with a slick texture and a light amount of soft carbonation that starts to feel flat by the end. It finishes with a chocolate milk note and a bit of grains, coffee grounds and ash. A light chocolate and ash quality sticks around in the brief aftertaste. This draft brew on nitro from a restaurant poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque except at the edges black colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was brown malt dark chocolate and dark malt. The smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering roasted malt aftertaste. The good flavor contained notes of roasted malt chocolate and dark malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again. smoosh (536) - New Albany, Indiana, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Huge, chocolate roast in the nose - wow! Typical nitro stout appearance - black body with a creamy had of small, tight beige bubbles. Delicious! The flavor matches the aroma. Beer is soft on the palate. A terrific beer and one that makes a visit to Columbus quite likely! Patrickctenchi (6691) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 30, 2013

Draft to taster. Looks good; black with tan head. Smells and tastes solid; sweet and malty with notes of chocolate. Nice and creamy on the palate. A good stout.
