Was expecting more out of this one. However wasn’t bad. Had a malty finish with little head

BillKismet (4103) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 5, 2010
Light amber hue with a dissipating head. Sharp malt and candi nose. Flavor falls somewhat flat and uninteresting. Bland maltiness.

SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 29, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with an ivory head. This beer tastes like peanuts! It’s kind of thin but has a pleasant mild finish that’s quite finish. The bitterness seems to come from roastedness and not hops.

BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Malty caramel aroma with some herbal hoppiness lingering in the background. Coloring looks just like a penny. Pleasant toffee maltiness that is very quaffable. A perfect session beer with a crisp hop finish.

Old notes this is from around 2000 or so. Tasted at the brewpub. Red color. Medium head. Aroma is caramelized malts and hoppy. Nice balance of hops to malts. Full Mouthfeel. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
