COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Artisan Ales and Evil Twin Brewing have joined forces again on a variation of their first collaboration. The new beer is Barrel-Aged Bible Belt, a 12 percent ABV imperial stout brewed with cacao nibs, chili peppers, coffee and vanilla beans before being aged in Heaven Hill whiskey barrels for between seven and nine months. As the name suggests, the base beer is Bible Belt, a 13 percent imperial stout first released in 2014 that combines Evil Twin’s Even More Jesus imperial stout (12 percent ABV) and the same spices and other adjuncts that are used in Prairie’s Bomb! imperial stout (13 percent ABV.)

355 ml bottle

Black with light brown head that falls to a thin collar. Good AVB legs and good retention to the head.
nose is whisky, coffee, spices, soft chili peppers. Not that much vanilla but who is counting.
taste is wood, coffee, whisky, vanilla, soft chili spice. Myriad of flavors that work and mesh real well together. Tasted a bit old but worked non the less.
a little thin for 13%. still quite drinkable. Solid beer

O panie jak to pachnie, czekolada, kawa, popiol, burbon. Barwa czarna, piana drobna, ladna. W smaku geste, czekolada, kawa, jest posmak typu tonka. Palonosc wrecz popiolowa, goryczka solidna. Bardzo fajny balans pomiedzy wytrawnoscia a slodycza. Pyszny, intensywny stout.

Bottle, Imperial Stout. Black color with deep beige head. Aroma is coffee ground, spices, cinnamon, vanilla, some caramel, super nice spicing, ashtray in the best way. Taste is woody, caramel, umami, more wood sugar if you leave it on the tongue, a bit oxidized, but not in a bad way, perfect chili catch level in the back. Thick viscous mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decadent. The barrel aging really gave Bible Belt the body it needed. Excellent!

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2017 (bottle) deepest brown-black in colour with a frothy deep beige head. aroma of earthy coffee, vanilla icing and fudge, with a touch of bran flakes, chocolate sauce and porridge. flavour is mostly oatmeal and dark fudge, with lots of umami, earth and sugar icing, a very light hint of chilli peppers and some espresso in the light toasted-bitter finish. heavy-bodied with soft carbonation. excellent!

Bottle. Black. Burned chili, dark chocolate, cinnamon, mint. Oxidized roast, iodine, good dark chocolate, nice spices. Medium full body, mellow mouthfeel. Spicy chocolate and espresso, light burn in the finish. Intense, but well balanced.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2017 Ło to jest slodziaszek! Czekoladka i potężny ekstrakt z beczuni i niewiele więcej. Ciało, rzecz jasna, przepotezne.

Keg at Craft Covent Garden, a rare spot! Thick black pour with no head. Huge vanilla aroma and taste, between the barrel and the vanilla beans they really dominate this beer. Underlying that, a big roasty deep bitter beer with a long finish. It's good, but I think I'd have preferred it with a bit less vanilla character in there.

Świetny aromat waniliowy, sporo gorzkiej czekolady i palony finish. Piwo klasy Black Eyed King Imp ale mniej męczy przez bardziej wyważoną słodycz ale nie tak gęste. Świetny RIS nie męczy ale nie mega gęsty
