COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lets face it we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewings world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Pours a dark black with a nice khaki head. The aroma is espresso, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla bean, smokiness, chilies pepper seeds. The aroma is just magnificent with this beer. The flavor is very similar to the aroma and the heat is very mild at the end. This is a drastic improvement on the basic Prairie Bomb!

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a small brown head that lasts in a ring and laces some. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate, chili peppers, light smoke, and coffee. Flavor is the same, roasted upfront with some spice and sweetness on the end. Full bodied, rich and creamy with a dry, roasty finish.

Aroma: dark chocolate, slight bourbon, tiny bit of fusel alcohol and more dark chocolate. Appearance: Black with a some garnet. No head. Legs at first which died as warmed. Flavor: dark chocolate, dark chocolate, dark chocolate. Moderate astringency and an alcohol kick at the back end. very slight dark fruit undertones but overwhelmed by dark chocolate. Aftertaste was more dark chocolate. Mouthfeel: heavy. carbonation dissipates quickly taking any creaminess with it leaving alcohol and astringency. Overall Impression: A good beer but the dark chocolate overwhelms any dark fruit and bourbon complexity. The astringency is a little high even for a very heavy dark beer.

TheJestersBeer (2423) - SWEDEN - FEB 5, 2017
12oz bottle. Pours almost pitch black, with a thin brown head. Complex, roasted aroma, coffee, caramel, cocoa, vanilla, ashes, licorice. Semi-sweet, full bodied, medium bitterness, fairly low CO2. Rich, complex taste, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, caramel, ashes, tobacco. The heat from the chillies subtly grow in the finish, without ever becoming too up front. Very well balanced, dangerously drinkable. (2017-02-05)

12 oz bottle. Pours black with a 1/2 finger head. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, roasted malt, with a hint of chocolate. Taste leads with sweet vanilla, follows with strong coffee and roasted malts, and ends with a pleasing spicy burn. The 13% ABV is nearly undetectable except for a slight warming in the chest. Mouthfeel is medium with little carbonation. Overall, this is one of my favorite prairie beers yet. This one is definitely worth chasing when it comes out.
