355ml bottle @ Alex's. Pours an opaque dark brown with a thin tan head. Nose is a mix of green pepper, chocolate, and subtle spices. Flavour is spices, dark chocolate, with a warming boozyness. It finishes somewhat dry with chocolate powder. It's rich, smooth, spicy and tasty. Oakes (18167) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2017
Dark brown. Inky, looks pretty flat, with no head. The aroma has a lot of chocolate, a lot of alcohol on the nose. On the palate, it's quite spicy, like cloves, with a bit of chocolate, with a splash of alcohol. It's definitely a bit flat, and that spiciness is pretty powerful. It seems to be so much more mellow than the barrel version. Christos (5862) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2017
(Prairie / Evil Twin Bible Belt) Bottle 355ml. Another one of those beers you know you had rated but it’s now deleted. koleminer20 (3798) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUL 14, 2017
Shared at the Prairie Everything Dark/Kill Your Liver Extravaganza at Jeff’s House on July 1. 12 oz bottle. The pour is a lighter black with a thin dark brown head that almost fizzles away without leaving any lace. The aroma is smoky as hell. Definitely too much Jesus right off the top. There is a roasted malt and a hint of chocolate with a decent alcohol backing this up. The flavor is much of the same. The smoky chocolate, light malts, and a boozy roasted bitterness. This definitely isn’t something that I’m enjoying. The mouth feel is a bit medium bodied with a sharper carbonation and a lingeringly smoky, bitter roast on the finish. This is isn’t that good. 6 4 6 4 14 ebone1988 (2016) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Bottle shared at the Prairie Stout Extravaganza. Aroma is lightly smoky, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, slight booze, nice. Appearance is dark dark brown, light brown head, poured thickish. Taste is smoky, chocolate, roasted malt, light vanilla, eh. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy body, light carbonation, smoky roasted malt aftertaste. Overall, eh. A bummer.

355 ml bottle at Alex's (thx, Farees!). Batch #1. Aroma sweet, fruity, cocoa, some chilli peppers. Taste is quite dry, somewhat sour and roasted malt. The fresh one is better IMO.
Earthiness, some chillies and smoke (chipotles?) along with decent amount of chocolate in aroma. Taste adds even more of chillis with a spicy aftertaste. Decent, although the chillis should be used in lesser amount in my opinion. ALIBALI (2316) - Kiel, GERMANY - JUN 8, 2017

Conclusie: heerlijke stout ibrubeer (397) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 1, 2017
12 oz bottle. Aroma is cocoa, vanilla, rich malt, faint chili. Black opaque color, no head, no lacing. Perfect blend of flavors. Rich malt, cocoa, slight sweetness. Faint heat from the peppers in the aftertaste, but barely noticeable. Very full bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a wonderful beer. Hides its strength very well!
