Lets face it we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewings world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

I think I was lost by the Prairie Bomb and Merica, but this one is pretty darn good! You can smell the aroma of espresso and chocolate. Dark as oil. Lacy head. The cocoa nibs and booze are detectable. Full bodied. Complex beer. Reviewers say the chili is pronounced but I did not detect any heat. It is shamelessly good. Id love to try this one on tap. Or maybe even buy it andvpull it out in December.

Crazy decadent aroma filled with dark chocolates, vanilla, & spice; dark roast coffee notes in the back, too. Arrives much like a dessertchoc syrup & vanilla cream. Huge coffee notes dominate the middle and finishes with a touch of heat that lingers. Medium body, low carb, and a hot finish from peppers & booze. The chocolate & peppers are Prairie while the coffee & vanilla are Evil Twin. Overall, super delicious!!

Pours black with a brown head, and the aroma immediately starts to fill the room. The aroma is full of coffee, chocolate, licorice, and some smoke. The flavor is big, smoky, and roast. Chocolate and coffee fill in the back middle of the flavor and a subtle heat is present after the swallow. For a 13% beer, the alcohol is very well hidden. The child of two of my favorite beers, this one is a winner.

Dark brown pour with small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, lactose, slight coffee, molasses and faint hops. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate fudge, molasses, slight smoke, slight chili heat, molasses, vanilla and lactose. Full bodied, medium carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel, perfectly balanced, delicious!

Bottle in Austin. Light beige head. Light carbonation. Aroma is smoky chocolate, roasted malt and dark roasted coffee. Lots of fudge and chocolate, both milk and dark. Sweet vanilla as well. Some nice chili heat at the end. Alcohol super well hidden! Very good.

Pours a dark black with a nice khaki head. The aroma is espresso, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, vanilla bean, smokiness, chilies pepper seeds. The aroma is just magnificent with this beer. The flavor is very similar to the aroma and the heat is very mild at the end. This is a drastic improvement on the basic Prairie Bomb!

Bottle. Clear dark brown with a small brown head that lasts in a ring and laces some. Aromas of roasted malt, dark chocolate, chili peppers, light smoke, and coffee. Flavor is the same, roasted upfront with some spice and sweetness on the end. Full bodied, rich and creamy with a dry, roasty finish.

Aroma: dark chocolate, slight bourbon, tiny bit of fusel alcohol and more dark chocolate. Appearance: Black with a some garnet. No head. Legs at first which died as warmed. Flavor: dark chocolate, dark chocolate, dark chocolate. Moderate astringency and an alcohol kick at the back end. very slight dark fruit undertones but overwhelmed by dark chocolate. Aftertaste was more dark chocolate. Mouthfeel: heavy. carbonation dissipates quickly taking any creaminess with it leaving alcohol and astringency. Overall Impression: A good beer but the dark chocolate overwhelms any dark fruit and bourbon complexity. The astringency is a little high even for a very heavy dark beer.
