Macon, Ga. - Just Tap’d Growler - 12 oz bottle. Hazy, light golden pour, soft snow white head that leaves a few legs of lacing. Aroma has a nice hearty sour essence to it with some light lemony accents, some grainy spiciness. Flavor is solid with some lemony sourness, a touch of yeast, some light sweet tart candy sourness. Mouthfeel has a nice dryness to it. Pretty solid.

Tap @ Beer Temple, small sample. Slight hazy yellow color, medium creamy white head. Aroma of pineapple, peppery yeast, slight farmhouse funk, hay. Bit dry in taste, slight sweet, slight funk. Decent stuff.

Nice saison but not quite up to prairie standards. Grassy hoppy black pepper and light citrus and wheaty funk. Good stuff

Draft at Beer Temple. Aroma of dry grass and yeast. Tastes likewise, dry, yeasty and fruity. Very Belgian, but the Belgians themselves can do this better.

Originally sampled via bottle, June 2014, thanks to Brent - have had a few times since. In general, a delicious, crushable lightly funky saison. Golden pour with a nice off-white head, good lacing. Nice aroma, mild funk, Belgian yeast, doughy, lemon, mild pepper. Nice flavor, just a hint at tartness and funk, clean doughy malts, light pepper and lemon peel. Tasty. Could throw back all day.

Poured slight hazy blonde color, with a intense head at first pour quickly dissipates. The aromatics are spice driven with a subtle fruity note. Slight floral spice, light apricot, melon. Creamy mouthfeel that finishes semi dry. No hop aromatics however a yeast hop bite lingers slightly.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home knowing that vacation in a warm climate starts in less than a week. Appearance is a cloudy slightly dark gold with a light white bubbly head. Aroma of pepper, orange peel, light yeast, overall pretty small smell. Taste is heavy on the yeast, with a thick consistency, light sour, dry finish, it’s good but doesn’t offer too much in my opinion. Not bad though.

from Erzbierschof - hazy golden-blond beer with a solid white foam left, long lasting; funky and yeasty aroma with fresh notes of yellow fruits; medium-bodied, decently sour, solid carbonation and lively palate; very dry and bitter/sour fruity and yeasty finish - straightforward and charming

12oz brown bottle. Golden colour, holds a good creamy white head. Good lacing. Nose has yeast, grains. Taste has grain, yeast, spice, some orange. Dry finish, aftertaste has yeast, spice and long bitterness. Lots of carbonation and a nice mouthfeel. A good saison.
