COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Beerathon (1681) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Pitch black oily pour with thin milk chocolate colored head that dissipates. Vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, rich roasted coffee, Mexican peppers, booze. Extremely complex flavors melding together. Intensifies as it warms up. Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a thick, syrupy, obsidian blackish color, impenetrable by light, thin espresso film is about all you can really call the head on this. Nose is coffee forward, dark roast, ancho chilis, bakers chocolate, hints of vanilla (one of the first beers I’ve actually detected most of what was in it without having to look at the description... so bonus points there). Mouth is oily and medium sweet, lots of dark things going on: cocoa, coffee, roasted barley, smoke, anchos (faint heat from that last component), earthiness. Warmth from the ABV evident at the back of the throat around the finish. Very nice to enjoy while listening my neighborhood imitate an impact area on a firing range... happy Fourth of July (you’re 239 years old today, ’Merica!!!)

Bottle. Pitch black, tan medium quickly dissipating head with slight lacings. Aroma is sweet vanilla, roasted coffee, chocolate, molasses, liqourice. Taste is delicate sweet vanilla and coffe up-front, into more creamier territory with syrup, more coffee and bitterness with a slight heat from the chili. Big body, medium carbo, sticky and oily texture. Classy.

Thisis12ptfont (1221) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - JUN 27, 2015
Massive aromas of chocolate, toffee, dark cacao, cocoa powder, sharp chile pepper skin, raisins, coffee, dark malts and burnt caramel. Pours pitch black with absolutely no foam whatsoever. Taste is massively complex with silky smooth chocolate, chocolate milk, dark malt syrup, toffee, caramel, tons of light vanilla creme, espresso, and a domination of of chile pepper. Finishes remarkably smooth with residual chocolate syrup, chile pepper, vanilla and hints of latte. Overall, very impressive. Tons of flavors going on but they somehow all come together so well. Chile pepper is definitely present but brings no heat, neither does the alcohol for that matter. Very impressive.

Rich dark brown/black color; Heavy slightly creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, rich espresso/coffee beans, chocolate, & vanilla; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, caramel, espresso/coffee, vanilla, chocolate, some dark fruit, and subtle chili peppers; Very nicely balanced & complex; The alcohol is well hidden; Somewhat mellow - but awesome!

This is the one beer that blew me away the first time I had it. There are many great stouts out there, but in my humble opinion this is the one that sits on the thrown
