Aroma - Lots of coffee and chocolate. Two things that I like very much.
Appearance - Pours very dark with a thin brown head that dissipates.
Taste - Coffee, vanilla, and chocolate up front with a nice hint of the peppers on the back end. Just subtle enough.
Hides the alcohol very well and is drinkable and pretty dangerous at 14%. Very well done beer overall.

12oz bottle. Pours jet black with a thin brown head. Thick like motor oil. Vanilla, coffee, and chocolate flavors are up front and the burn and smokiness from the chilies are at the finish. It's 14% but the alcohol is VERY well hidden. So smooth and drinkable. I was blown away by this. Awesome beer!

The balance of coffee and vanilla on the thick roasty chocolate boby are perfect. The slight heat from the ancho on the finish nails it. I can not get over how perfect this beer is. CrappyPappy (2) - Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2014 does not count
On tap. This is a really good beer. Pours like an imperial stout should 12oz tulip with a half inch light cream colored foam. The aroma is chocolaty with a little smoke. The flavor is chocolaty, nutty and covers the palate. There is a little lingering spice that, paired with the smokiness, finishes well. Actually, at 14% this is a great beer. Pour from a bottle is a nice black with a light mocha head. I definetly get the coffee and chocolate aroma then a little chillies at the end. Taste is bitter from the cacao and coffee but has a smoothness to it from the vanilla. It leaves a bitter and dry after taste with a little bite from the chillies.

Well balanced, smooth coffee flavor with the chili notes that hit at the end Busick (390) - Lake Wylie, South Carolina, USA - JUN 29, 2014
This beer smells strong and it is strong, but delicious! I am so glad that I have gotten to try this gem in the imperial stout world!! dreamflower (790) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 21, 2015
On tap at Barley Brothers in Winnipeg. Super dark and velvety. Coffee and chocolate with a creamy texture and fantastic depth. One of my favourites of all time. sloshgator (741) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2015
Prairie Artisan Ales Bomb! is just that good. Dark pour in a snifter glass with a tan head. The aroma of chocolate and spice is strong. Taste is smooth with chocolate and coffee notes and a hint of vanilla. The chili peppers provide a nice flavor and just enough heat to make it interesting without overwhelming. The high ABV is barely detectable in the taste but is felt as the glass goes down. The Bomb! is all that and lives up to the hype. Hops4Pops (1) - - MAR 19, 2015 does not count
A really great Imperial Stout! Thirty-two ounce growler from Jase at my nearby watering hole. Loaded with complexity and flavors that meld perfectly. Coffee, Chocolate, Dark Fruits, vanilla bean and a little bit of pepper on the back end. Looks great in the snifter. Nice amount of head, nice retention, some sticky lacing. Alcohol is very well hidden until you finish the glass a sip at a time. VERY GOOD BEER!
