COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bomb! is an imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers. All the flavors meld to create a truly unique beer. The peppers add just the right amount of heat to compliment the intense coffee and chocolate flavors.

Black pour with good viscosity. Aromas of chili peppers and vanilla. Taste is quite good. Starts with a thick mouthfeel from a classic American impy stout taste. Nice hopping that accentuates the body. It has hints of vanilla in the middle of the taste but ends with a spicy pepper and hop finish. I like this much better than ccb huna

A couple of weeks ago, on tap at The Tap on Ponce, brought home in 16.9-oz bottle. This beer is incredible - one of my favorite of all time. The balance of the pepper, vanilla, coffee, chocolate - oh! My favorite pepper beer so far. I will now be looking for pepper beers that can rival this gem.

Bottle. Pours black with barely any head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, coffee grounds, hint of spicy peppers. Flavor of bitter chocolate, chocolate malt, roasted malt, charred malt, with a spicy peppery kick in the finish. Delicious impy, complex and rich, lots of chocolate and some heat in the finish. 8/4/9/4/15 (4.0/5)

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was bitter and roasty with cocoa, vanilla and hot peppers. The flavor was cocoa, hot pepper, marshmallow, vanilla and sweet toasty malts. Long finish. Thick, full and creamy body. Excellent.

12floz bottle, no bottling/best-by date found, Spaceship Earth Coffee Co. used in this beer, paid about $6, poured into a large snifter glass. It appears near black with little foam. The aroma is really nice: fresh coffee, dark chocolate, and chili pepper are in the mix. Mmmm...at 13% it is mighty smooth. Vanilla may not be a prominent flavor, but it helps to produce a balanced, flavorful palate of milk-chocolate and mild pepper. I will remember this one for the future, and if possible a tasting challenge to other great imperial stouts. This unique in that it doesn’t rely on bourbon barrel aging.

On tap at Dark Horse with blonderedhead before Saints game. Pitch black in color with small tan head. Nose is bigger on coffee and chocolate...almost a slight cayenne spice. Taste is rich and almost silky with a beautiful balance of chocolate, coffee, and subtle heat. Mouthfeel dries out a little as the sip continues. Vanilla and chocolate play well together. This is tremendous. Having trouble finding flaws. Find me a better imperial stout and I’ll be super surprised. Only thing that tops it is the birthday rendition.

[2014 or 2015 vintage – can’t remember!] It pours a dark brown body, that looks near pitch black in the glass. Warm brown tints on the edge of the glass. Almost no head, only a small layer of dark beige head that fades instantly. Aroma is very chocolate and coffee forward. Cocoa nibs, vanilla beans detectable. Chili not so notable - in the aroma at least. Great deal of roasted malts. Taste of dark chocolate, strong espresso, vanilla and roasted malts. Chili is once again not so easy to detect. It has a subtle heat and spice towards the finish. I’m surprised as to how light the mouthfeel is. It’s not thick or smooth, it’s almost lager like. Oily texture, light bodied - very watery, little to no carbonation. Might have sat too long.

Jest bomba hyperbaryczna. Fala uderzeniowa aromatów kawy, czekolady, wanilii i papryki. Co za ciało. Jędrne, rubensowskie. I to chili na finiszu. BOMBA!

Interesting stout. Chills and coffee are most prominent. Obviously pours pitch black with staying light brown lacing. My bottom line: It’s delicious!!!
