COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Funky Gold Mosaic is a dry-hopped sour ale. We took Prairie Gold and dry-hopped it with a huge amount of Mosaic hops. The end results are tropical, sour, and an all around new beer drinking experience! This beer is great fresh, but will continue to develop as the wild yeast continues to work in the beer.

Bottle to glass. Pours a hazy yellow with white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine, funky, citrus, grass. Taste is hoppy with pine notes and a solid bitterness, pairs well with a tart salinity. Hints of yeast and pepper. Very enjoyable! Palate is light body, medium heavy carbonation. Very good on a hot summer day! Nom nom nom.

Very ripe sour plum, rotten lychee, medium lactic acid, lime, grainy middle light sweetness, low bitterness, green mosaic hops - a bit out.

Draft at Bru in Philadelphia. Pours hazy orange-amber with just a trace of a white head. Funky yeast aroma with a note of citrus, maybe orange. Medium body, lightly oily. Dry finish. Flavor is sour from the yeast, with a note of orange beneath. The sourness lingers at the back.

Fresh bottle drunk 12/14/16.
Large white head shows good retention atop a hazy, bright golden body.
Pure mosaic in the nose shows vibrant nectarine, apricot, juicy light pine and some softer, earthier notes as well. Brett is well-integrated and adds a lemon-lime edge with light funk and mineral. It remains wonderfully bright and inviting, with very low malt character in the background.
Tart, but with a soft enough malt structure/texture to balance the acidity, and quite hoppy with tons of tropical fruit emanating from brett and hop. Tight carbonation, good attenuation and a crisp, tart, bitter, and juicy finish. Lovely stuff. Finally find a decent Prairie beer.

16.9 oz bottle. Aroma is a nice mixture of both hoppy and bacterial aromatics: tropical fruit, citrus, cat piss, floral, lactic, white wine vinegar, sour berry jam; a little brett in there, too. Pours hazy pale yellow with a thick bone-white head with great retention. Taste is lightly sour (6/10), dry, and altogether not nearly as impressive as the perfect aroma, although its definitely not bad. Carbonation is super foamy, like a champagne. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Tasty, I just wished everything else lived up to that crazy good aroma.

Hoppig aroma, die doorwerkt in de smaak. Zure smaak, citroen zest en mango. In de finish mooie balans tussen zuur en hop.

Bottle shared at Samm Fest II. Poured hazy golden with white head. Nose was tart fruit, hops. Tasted tart, fruity, lemony, with ample hops, mild yeasty notes, and a tart finish.
