4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml corked and caged bottle purchased at the Louisville Beer Store in Louisville, Kentucky. The cork slowly pushed itself out after the cage was removed. The pour is is a hazed yellow almost greenish with tons of carbonation bubbles rising to the surface. The aroma is really bright fresh lemon citrus along with Brett notes of damp blanket and a really pleasant dry funk. The taste is the nose with equal parts lemon citrus and the funk of the Brett, which really dries out to the earthiness. The Brett carries the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, with crisp carbonation and the bone dry Brett finish. Super easy drinking, stellar stuff. I’m a sucker for well made Brett Saisons.

Wow. Pours a very hazy light golden color. Lots of foamy white head that persists. Aroma: wow. Lots of barnyard almost to the point of dirty diaper on this. Somewhat odd, and I'm a fan of saison brett beers. But something about this seems a bit off. Somewhat like sulfur or rotten eggs. But an interesting beer. I'll have to try again and see if this bottle is off.

Bottle. Pour is a light, hazy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is awesome, tons of citrus. Flavor is a lot of citrus, slightly bitter from the amount of citrus.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a murky light yellow with a big foamy and very persistent head with fantastic retention and great lacing. Aroma of lemon and citrus with some wheat tartness and plenty of earthy Brett character. Tropical fruit flavors in taste with some wheat and graininess. Earthy and musty flavors midway through that are somewhat phenolic with a slightly astringent bitter but also have some tartness. Finishes dry with some lingering bitter and mustiness. Semi creamy mouthfeel with a medium body and high carbonation. Very tasty and drinkable with nice Brett character and tropical and citrus hop presence.

Super Carbed bottle, cork shot about 15 feet. Aroma is great floral and citrus hops. Taste is very strange and funky with a pretty bitter finish, not for the timid.

Funkadelic! Cloudy appearance and a strong barnyard aroma with a hint of lemon. Extremely earthy taste!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is a saison. Thick head. Malty. Grapefruit tinge. Harsh washdown. Mildy ok. Not crisp and clean. Seems like it wants to be something it’s not. Overrated brew. Nothing extradordinary or underwhelming. A bit boring so to speak.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Köpenhamn 14/9. Luktar och smaker som en hel bondgård (stall, ammoniak, gödsel). Kort eftersmak, tack och lov. Nej, ingenting för mig!
