Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Aker Brygge, Oslo. Pours a cloudy light golden body with a massive frothy farmhouse-style white head. Nose is wet grass, red fruits, barnyard funk, citrus, grape peel, hay and hints of wet leaves, straw, melon and lemon zest. Taste is red fruits, wet grass, citrus, grape peel, white wine, melon and hints of barnyard funk, lemon zest and hay. Light, dry body, high carbonation. Wow. This might be Prairie’s most outstanding achievement so far: a beer this clean as a basic concept (S.M.A.S.H.) yet with amazing complexity and just a fantastic farmhouse/brett profile. Incredibly tasty and moore-ish. Well done. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2015

Bottle. Unclear yellow in color with a whitish head. Some spices and bit earthy notes mixed with barnyard in aroma. Citrus and floral notes are present too. Light funkiness with some spicy notes in taste. Fruity and bit of grainyness later on. Crisp and refreshing. Bitter and tart fruity finish. Good. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 3, 2015
bottle. Hazy golden with two finger head. By god, these folks have got the saison style nailed. Funky brett, tart and fruity. Plenty of hops. Just a flavor packed saison that is outstanding.

This is something! Super fruity and grapey in the nose, bright and brilliant--you can smell it across the table. It’s a very cloudy brew w/ a giant foamy head, would maybe think it was infected if I didn’t know better--and I guess it kinda is. There is a twinge of funky, earthy complexity to this that seems to highlight the intense fruitiness. This is fairly full bodied and just slightly off dry. It finishes w/ a bit of minerally, resinous bitterness. This is a really tasty combination of brett and hops and definitely one of my favorite examples of all Nelson Sauvin beer. shrubber85 (11393) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 22, 2015
Bottle. Horseblanket, yeast, lemon, malt, and herbal orange peel aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with with small head. Mildly sweet-tart lemon malt, funky horseblanket, and light orange peel flavor. Nice body. SirBolts (8) - HUNGARY - SEP 17, 2015 does not count
Bottle. Hazy light straw with huge foamy head, medium-long retention nice lacing. Aroma is some hop aroma with that wine aroma, but the funky barnyard aroma just overwhelmes all.
Taste is dry, some sweet ester, nice long lasting bitterness, the aftertaste is peppery and sweet.
Very drinkable, good balance although the bitterness is sticking out its head. Feelable ’merican way of making saison...love it! Saint_Rho (15) - Munich, Bavaria, GERMANY - SEP 17, 2015
Strong fruity aroma, slightly sour. Hazy yellow orange colour with big white Head. Full fruity taste lovely balanced. Fresh and lightly sour. SinH4 (4759) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - SEP 17, 2015
Hazy yellow-orange color with big white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrusy-lemony, spicy, fresh bretts. Taste is fruity, doughy, lovely balance, peppery finish. Grapes in there as well? Yeah I guess. Amazingly easy to drink. A great aroma-hopped Saison! Lively but still sorta laidback carbonation.
