‘Merica is a single malt, single hop farmhouse ale. It’s brewed with floor malted pilsner and 3lbs per bbl Nelson Sauvin hops. The beer is conditioned with 2 brett strains and wine yeast. The Nelson hops provide white wine flavors while Brettanomyces add a juicy quality to the beer.

Farmhouse, citrus fruits, grapefruit, bitter lemon, floral hops. Slightly hazy, pale gold, tiny, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More farmhouse, straw, grain malts, citrus fruits, bitter lemon peel, lime juice, soft carbonation, medium bodied, dry and bitter finish. Very nice Saison, intense but well-balanced. Keg at The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey.

Very good beer with Pizza. It’s light and not overwhelming. This is a great beer for those transitioning from wine to beer and vice versa

Damn, I feel patriotic drinking this. ’Merica! Hazy gold with lots of head. Yeast, tropical fruit, just a hint of funk.

0.5l bottle. Love the name. It’s a huge foamy white headed one this. Quickly fading in to small white foamy islands on top of a cloudy bright straw yellow colored body. It smells really good this. Really brett infused and superbly herbal fruity in lack of better describing words. I get white pepper, green grapes, sour pineapple, a nice peachy sweetness and funky yeast. It’s also almost lemonic in the nose, lots of zesty citrus oils. Really something. It’s a good point above average on the carbonation level and it’s thick almost syrupy heavy on the texture in the mouth. Tastes really good also. White whiney and mild woody tart. More sour pineapple, pear juices and a little alco burn in the back. Really tasty this one! 17.07.2015

Bottle from K&L in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is funk, mild cat pee, spicy yeast, Bretts, dried pineapple, dried apricot. Taste is surprisingly juicy, dried fruit (if that’s possible), yeasty, dry peels, maybe old dry wood. Prairie somehow makes something so dry, funky and old attic feel fresh, juicy and light.

Pours clear, wan straw yellow with a fairly thick and somewhat persistent porcelain head. Aroma presents yeasty, fresh malt and white wine tones. Flavor downplays the malt and yeast, but adds some woody hops. Mouthfeel has decent fizz and body, and finish delivers a note of tart white wine. All ’Merica(n), all the time.
