Dark brown opaque body, almost no head, almost no lacing. Lots of vanilla, some cocoa, caramel, coffee, rum barrel, coconut, and anise. Medium to full bodied, slick mouthfeel, muted carbonation, fairly sweet, not overly boozy for 14%, lingering finish with some heat. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - SEP 16, 2016

Black with a chocolatey head and good lacings. Aromas of roasted malts, bitter chocolate, coffee, vanilla, treacle, brown sugar cane, wood, toffee and a light spicey undertone develop.
Softly carbonated, smooth and full bodied. Lightly chocolatey cocoanut-vanilla - treacle sweetness with a nice roasty bitter edge. Lasting finish, rather complex and highly enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours black. Aroma and taste are rum sweetness, roasted malts, vanilla, coconut, and a little spice. Ritzn (1808) - GERMANY - JUL 25, 2016
Deep black with almost no head. Aroma is really dark chocolate, coffee, some sweet cherries, pepper. Too much coffee for me. Taste is bittersweet, with much of everything, no sourness. Also remarkable is the chili-like-spicyness. Really well-rounded. Full body, heavy but not too much. Could have some more sweet chocolate but overall still beautiful.
