COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Ale is our classic saison. We brew this beer with pilsner malt, wheat malt, flaked wheat, and cane sugar. A healthy dose of saaz hops are used to add a spicy element to the beer. Prairie Ale is fermented with a mix of ale yeast, wine yeast, and brettanomyces. Notes of black pepper and pineapple can be found in this beer.

draught@Erzbierschof - cloudy orange beer with a persistent white foam; nice lace; aroma of barnyard, peaches, mango and citrus; a good malt backbone, pretty assertive and tasty; quite sweet and with a late brett-sourness; low carbonation, light chewy and sticky aftertaste of ripe fruits; residual sugars and more notes of hay

Tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft. Nose of lemon, yogurt, very funky lactic character, citrus. Pale gold, cloudy, with lace. Very lactic flavor, vanilla, cream, yogurt, with lemon, grass, leather. Somewhat like a lemonade lassi. Very bitter, thought. Good, but too much milk. got hard to drink.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy golden straw color with a 2-3 finger foamy and rocky white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, clove, pepper, hay, grass, white wine, wheat, light vinegar, funk, and yeast earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast notes with funk; and great strength. Taste of lemon, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, pepper, clove, hay, grass, white wine, wheat, light vinegar, funk, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, pineapple, light fruits, clove, pepper, hay, grass, wheat, white wine, funk ,and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and brett flavors; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and fairly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an incredible saison style! All around fantastic balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, hop, and brett flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink for the ABV. A near world class offering in my opinion.

Bottle. INCOMING!!! Took the cage off, looked down, and watched the cork blow itself across my kitchen. It gushed for a good ten minutes after. This is not good. That said...nose is sweet with some brett and phenolic notes, as well as spicy wine notes. Pours a hazy gold with a huge head. Flavor is typical saison -- some peppery and tropical fruit going on. Finish is a little saccharine. It’s all right, but it’s not worth the explosion.

Bottle thanks to Matteo at the Pre-Zwanze. It pours cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, apricot, peach yoghurt, funky, earth and wood. The taste is fresh orange, nectarine, apricot, sherbet, wood, creamy, hay and floral with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and high, prickly carbonation. Tasty and well-balanced.

750ml bottle from ales by mail
Hazy pale blonde, sharp citrus and plenty of poop. Brett front and centre, dry, bretty, touch of sauvignon grapes, tart. As brett subsides biscuit malt and citrus hops appear. Brett a tad too boisterous for me

750ml bottle, slight cloudy honey gold hue, with a frothy bubbly white head, with a faint yeasty bretty funky, barnyard, spicy, fruity nose, with some light citrus, faint rotten pineapple, acidic pale, wheat maltiness accents, with a light citrus leafy hop note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate and a good earthy mild bretty, funky, spicy, dusty, rustic yeastiness character with a herbal flowery leafy, citrus dry hoppy flavour, and with a light acidic, sour wheat, pale, pilsener maltiness, faint musty white grape backbone, leading towards a bretty, funky yeastiness, leathery, dusty, mild leafy, citrus dry hop bitterness finish.

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some light Brett notes, a little pale malts and wheat, some light fruits, and a nice bitterness. Flavor the same with a nice blend of everything for a saison. Average texture. A really good saison.
