COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Ale is our classic saison. We brew this beer with pilsner malt, wheat malt, flaked wheat, and cane sugar. A healthy dose of saaz hops are used to add a spicy element to the beer. Prairie Ale is fermented with a mix of ale yeast, wine yeast, and brettanomyces. Notes of black pepper and pineapple can be found in this beer.

Bottle; pours a cloudy straw color with a white head; nice aroma of yeast, citrus, some spice, with hints of wheat and funk; taste is bittersweet with citrus, yeast, and some spice; finish is dry bitter with some pepper notes; very nice, smooth saison

2015-06-02. Hazy straw yellow body with a modest white head. 3+ Aroma is pleasantly estery, sweetish wheat and Belgian yeast character. A bit Unibroue like? (Maybe?) Flavour is pleasant, interesting lightly yeasty wheat character up front, sweet middle, then finishes dry and lightly alcoholic. Light spice touches woven throughout. 7+ Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Dangerously drinkable. On tap at Beer Revolution, Edmonton.
