Bottle from Kihoskh. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, white wine, lemon and bretty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. A bit underwhelming. 030216

Beer throttles out from the bottle, into the glass. Hazy, pale and bit of white foam. Cloudy. Nose has sone berries, funky. Barnyard. Some acidity. Taste is sour but there is also strong barley grain taste over there. Sour wild berries, cloudberries. Aftertaste is dry, bit of berries. Very refreshing brew, subtle in its funky and sour character. Close to saison.

750 ml bottle that I think I purchased at The Party Source when Prairie was just starting to show up here. It pours a lightly clouded yellow-gold with a small white head that disappears quickly and leaves nothing behind. This is so clean and white wine-like, with white grapes, lemon, lime, grass, straw, oak, and a very light, effervescent funk. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a tart, bright, vinous mouthfeel. Definitely a wine-inspired offering from Prairie.

Only got to enjoy a bit of this super effervescent golden brew on account of my dumb ass. I didnt take time to consider how fizzy this would be and created beer geyser when opening it. Ah well, it added to the champagne-like drinking experience the bottle describes. And hell, they arent lying. This is a fruity, lively, vinous, bright, tart, and dry brew. Its yeasty and sour but in a way thats refined and complex. Gold would be brilliant with cheese. It would be great with most food, honestly. Just enough alcohol for some warmth but its sweetness is nicely hidden under all the yeast strains. Lovely stuff.

Bottle. A- Funky. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Funky, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, funky finish. O- This thing is a gusher! I know the deScription says its a champagne like beer. Didnt think it would gush everywhere like it too. Plenty of balanced funk to it and not a lot else.

Stoned99 (1413) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 2, 2016
500ml bottle shared with Jo, Seb and JF. Well, not really 500ml because of a huge gushing, lost probably 1/3 of the bottle. Aroma: lemon, abricot, wheat, funky white grapes, spices. App: hazy straw, no head, minimal white head but could due to the huge gushing. Taste and palate: light to medium body, soft carbonation but a tad fizzy, light acidity finish. Overall: good stuff. Well balanced.
