COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Gold is a dry, highly effervescent saison fermented with a mix of ale yeast, wine yeast, lactobacillus and 2 strains of brettanomyces. This beer highlights the various yeasts and bacteria used to make it. Lemon, pear, white wine grapes, and a touch of funk dominate the flavor and aroma in this champagne like beer.

Bottle @ Crooked Stave ROY-G-BIV Day. Thanks to whomever shared this! Pours a golden appearance with a white head. A bit musty, champagne-like, funky, white grape, pear aroma. Flavor is super drinkable with notes of apples, light banana, spicy yeast, light funk, and flowers.

Bottle from John’s Grocery. Murky orange, thin fizzy off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of pale bready malt, tannins, lacto, lemon. Taste is lemon, bready malt, orange, lacto, brett. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. Juicy. Wood go well with breakfast. This beer’s 250th rating!

Po otwarciu butelki gushing. Dużo ananasa, trochę nut kojarzących się z białym winem. Fajnie nachmielone. Jest bardzo ok ale niczym nie urzeka poza aromatem.

0.5l bottle. GUSHER! Totally drowned my kitchen sink this bad boy. What I got over in the glass is quite nicely glowing and yellow golden. It’s really cloudy and the big foamy gusher head fades into a thin island. Ok it’s a gusher, but looks OK and it smells absolutely divine. Super lemony zesty and brett sour with lots of sour fruits. White currants, sorrel, gooseberries and sour apricots. Lovely on the nose! Tastes a little milder. A lot milder. Surprisingly dry and non-sour actually. Feels like it has been over carbonated and that the bubbles have just collapsed. Body vise it’s mild oily. Salty wild berries, some currants and gooseberries - the non sour kind. Dryish mineralish finish and tail. Good one, but had much higher hopes for this one unfortunately. 27.03.2016

Very bubbly. Bottle. The look is real cloudy. Apricot colored. The smell is tart, fruit, hay, slight funk, yeast, muddled but good. The taste is refreshing, light fruit, yeast, tang.

Pours a very hazy golden with a white rim on top that leaves some lacing. Nose is of "hay" (don’t have a better word, sorry), oxidation, pepper and carbonic acid. Taste is lightly tart and dry with some grainy cereals and fruits. Some unfortunate chlorophenols in the finish but nothing really bad. Body is medium and carbonation high. Good but not great, I’ll try to revisit someday.
