Tørre i smagen. En smule syrlig, en del humle i smagen, har ikke styr på hvilke noter, men en lille smule træagtig i det.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden with a fluffy white top. Nice aromas of apples, farmhouse yeast, citrus and a subtle sweet estery note aswell. Taste is balanced. Light sweet malts rounded off by a light wheaty pungecy. Low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Avg co2 levels.

Keg (Craft, Islington)
Pleasant grainy saison aroma, a touch wheaty. Nice hazy yellow. A bit watery and keggyfizzy body. Pleasant, and quite mellow, balanced spiciness - the classic saison yeast fingerprint.

06.07.2015, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly strange floral, weeds, flowers, yeast, vegetables, grass, grain, old potatoe cellar, minerals, citrus peel, paper. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, yeast, flowers, hay, paper, grain, vegetables, grass, minerals, old potatoe cellar, citrus peel. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottle to glass, very hazy yellow with small head, vanishes quickly, mild lacing. At first the aroma is overpowering yeast / skunk but the objectionable character of it subsides quickly. After that, it is a lighter refreshing experience with lemony grassy yeasty notes. Mixed semi dry finish. Mild peppery. Subtle but noticeable hops. Don’t expect a standard beer experience here.

Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - JUL 4, 2015
Small sample from 355 ml bottle, at a 4th of July tasting. Promising and nice farmhouse kitchen / brett aroma, but the flavour was too thin, bland and not very interesting. The Motueka hops did not come through as much as I’d like. Might sample again, but not if I have to pay for the bottle myself.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, bubbly white head. Aroma is light citrus, faint yeast, a bit of funk. Taste is citrus, light grass, a bit of yeast, cracker. High carbonation, light on palate. Good beer.

A good saison beer, with yeasty-citrous tasty flavour. Refreshing and good balanced. Pale yellow.
