Subtle nose of lemon. Tons and tons of carbonation. almost no flavor but slight lemon and sweetness. LOTS OF CARBONATION. Very basic very standard. Refreshing? Not with all this carb... but it is a saison... from that sense, very approachable saison.

Bottle at Publick House, 3/15/17.
Pours a clear, well-carbonated, bright golden-brass with a good-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Sweaty, citric hops mix with peppery yeast phenols and biscuity-sweet honey-like malts. Light banana, bit of dough; rather Americanized, unsurprisingly. Not dirty, at least, or resinous and some of the more dry esters and phenols that break through are enjoyable.
In the mouth its well-carbonated with a pretty reasonable attenuation, still leaving a fair bit of honey and light caramel behind. Some lemon, lime, earth and spice lingers with light to moderate bitterness. Wholly inoffensive and forgettable and were it called a Belgian ale or hoppy pale ale, it would fare better, but as is, its just a bit clumsy.

OK, not my favorite style, but also not one I avoid. This an interesting, different and quite pleasant twist on a farmhouse. Yeasty, funky aroma with wheat. Poured into a snifter, cloudy yellow coloring with a persistent thin foam and no visible carbonation. This is my third brew from Prairie, and its plain to see why they have caught on and have such a wide distribution. Really, this is a small brew, mild, yet delicately balanced and masterfully brewed... the secret here is in the hops, the fairly subtle lime rind flavoring of the motueka hops. Certainly no Belgian farmhouse ever came up with anything like this. Flavor of wheat, yeast, spice, pepper... complex and understated, very drinkable, a delight. My score is lower because Im not in love with this style, but if you are, give this one a try.

Pretty close to a true saison. Aroma is mainly yeast with a little bit of hops and spice. Flavor is similar to nose with perfect carbonation extremely drinkable and very good finish with occasionally slight hints of metallic. Trying to edit text on Android is like brain surgery with a chain saw.

Lightly hazy straw color with a large, quickly falling head. Aroma is prominently lime zest with a fair amount of dank forest. Spicy, slightly vegetal hop flavor. Bracingly bitter. Some dusty grain and wheat. Dry. Heavily carbonated.

Keg Half Pint at White Horse American Beer Festival 2015, Parsons Green, London in July 2015 - Cloudy Yellow in colour. Good head. Good lacing. Fruity; lime citrus, some tropical fruit. Spicy. Bit earthy. Hoppy; grassy hops. Mild sweet-bitter fruity throughout. Refreshing. Good stuff. (2015-07-02)

It pours golden with a white head. There are earthly aromas with lime. There are hints of pineapple and tropical fruit. The flavors are hoppy with spice and lime. There are also low earthly elements, hints of tropical flavors, and a flavor that has vinous elements to it. It has a crisp and highly carbonated feel to it. The body is light towards the moderate side. It has a dry finish. Overall, this is a different take on a saison with the hops taking a more prominent role and the earthly and farmhouse elements being more in the background.
