On tap in Tulsa, light body, nice subtle tartness, but mostly sweet. Subtle roast flavor, bit of grape mid taste, chocolate in the finish.

Waxed bomber thanks to soonerchamps. Pours dark reddish brown with a medium sized foamy head that fades slowly and lingers nicely. Aroma is very Belgian-y which was unexpected. Big fruity esters like a Belgian strong with spices, oak, and light caramel. Taste is sour dark fruit, slightly tart, lots of oak, some spices. A little boozy in the finish. Its not bad but its just not very good either. Like a boring Belgian Christmas beer.

Taster on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Very last bit from the keg, lucky me. Totally hazy brown color. Thin khaki head. Couple dots of lace. Some loose dots of lace. A nice-looking old ale. Bigger body. Full, kind of chewy texture. Smooth, lighter carbonation, lightly slick texture. Taste is a little old - lightly tart, a lot of tannins. Light sweet. Not so sour as to ruin the beer, but the tartness is a little odd, seems out of place. Caramel malt, light butterscotch, light spice, a bit of toastiness, some light butteriness. Flaws are noticeable, but I think overall taste and flavor is not horrible, and texture is pretty nice.

500ml bottle in a tulip. Pours very dark brown with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of nice toffee and caramel malts, a little oak, a lot of spices, and light bitterness. Flavor the same with a little too much spiciness and hints of dark fruits. Average texture. Interesting but not that great because of the overwhelming spices and fruitiness.

Tap. Poured a dark hazy brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet malt and spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a soft complex beer.

Small bottle shared with a friend, thanks Jason! Malty, Belgian aroma with caramel, fruity esters, earthy hops, oak, toffee and light spices. Similar flavor, rich and robust with thick body and a smooth, creamy feel.

On tap at Bangers & Lace. Pours dark opaque. Flavor is very spicy. Medium bodied and no harsh coffee or toffee notes. Very pleasant flavor for a beer of this type. Not overwhelmingly minty but definitely there. Oak flavor is not overwhelming and almost not detectable. Good beer.

On tap, poured a murky brown hue w/ small head diminishing to a thin cap. Medium fruity aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light sour finish. Tastes are prune, red wine, oak, tart cherry, mulling spice and lemon. Full bodied, soft carbonation, and creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
