3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle into snifter, cloudy gold, light head, soft nose. Good body and subtle flavor but not watery at all. Quite smooth and well balanced, wish Prairie made more brews like this instead of focusing on sours, saisons, and farmhouse so much.

Appearance: hazy pale amber with a short, short-lived off-white head, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: mild, stone fruit, caramel, floral. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry medium duration bitter finish. (3/5)
Slightly disappointing, if I’m honest - I’ve always found Prairie Artisan to be excellent, but this is just all right. A bit plodding and heavy for the style. (13/20)

9/18/16. Bottle thanks to Carl, I believe. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Light pine aroma, some pale malts, hint of caramel, biscuit. Light citrus flavor, a hint of veggies, biscuit, caramel. Not bad. BeerRenter76 (1015) - Texas, USA - MAR 2, 2017
Right off hand this looks more like a Belgian Dubel than a pale ale. Huge frothy and pillowy head. Aromas of ripe melon, tangerines and sweet malts. Medium body but chewy, slight carbonation bite. Flavor is caramel malts with pine notes at first then going a slightly astringent finish. GenDV138 (7285) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - DEC 26, 2016

Honestly a little past it’s prime. A little dusty. Some funk over a hop bite. Okay. bubblehouse (1531) - louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Not usually a fan of pale ales but this was really good. Nice hop flavor. Looked great. Ktwse (4894) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2016
Pours hazy peach with medium to tall head, bottle gushed. Aroma of citrus, light fruit, grass. Taste is mild sweet first followed by a funky and peppery finish. Light and dry body with average to lively carbonation. stevoj (5049) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 20, 2016
Bottle from Boise Co-op. Not your typical post match brew, but really good. Listed as an APA, with tons of Saison character. Cloudy pale golden body with some floaties and a thick foamy head. Yeast is predominant aroma, taste builds some hop bite. Smooth and creamy, mild fruity notes too. Gender bender for sure, but extremely tasty.
