Pours a light lemon colour. Awesome aromas of barrel, horse blanket, fresh citrus, lemon, yogurt. Tart lemon juice flavours, oak, funk, great hoppy finish. World class sour. Maverick34 (3305) - New York, USA - OCT 8, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2017 bottled. poured gold. barnyard funk and juicy citrus really well executed. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 2, 2017
Bottle-Pours slightly hazy orange and very hazy orange with the sediment at the bottom with a very small soapy white head and no lacing at all. Nose of dry hops, citrus and lots of bright tartness. Flavors are very similar with lots of bright fresh citrus and tart grapefruit rind tartness. A very well done brew-simple and to the point in terms of a dry hopped sour. Finish is short with very lite lingering tart citrus notes. A very well done brew however a bit on the simplistic side. For what it is, it is very good nonetheless.

Aroma 6 /10: very stinky, funky yeast and citrus fruit in the nose
Appearance 4 /5: opaque light golden yellow with small bubble white head. Looks like orange juice!
Palate 4 /5: moderately carbonated and bright with intensely full funky palate
Taste 8 /10: interestingly, I don't taste the funk until later - initially there is strong grapefruit and citrus flavor, only later does the funk hit you hard. Finishes crisp and yeasty and slightly tart (reminds me of lactobaccillus almost)
Overall 18/20: surprisingly fruity and bright despite how intensely funky it is. I'm digging it.

Hazy pale gold pour with a 2-3 finger off white head. Aroma is loaded with funky earthy and spicy notes, lots of tart and floral tropical fruit and melon notes, very nice. Flavor is tart and funky all the way through, starting with sharp citrus and underripe melon, then some toast, wheat, green wood, light limestone minerality, a hint of kinda funky mint, a touch of walnut skin phenol. Light body crisp acidic feel throughout, medium, very blanketing and sharp carbonation and pleasantly dry, borderline astringent finish. This is a pretty tasty beer, it balances some interesting aromas/flavors and maintains a decent bite in carbonation, physical feel/astringency, acidity and hop acids. I like it a lot.
