2018/02/11 - Pours a hazy yellow straw with a thick, fluffy, white head that slowly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is Brett funk, vinegar, yoghurt, white wine, oak, citrus (grapefruit, lemon), biscuit malts and hints of stone fruit. Taste follows nose; tart lemon and grapefruit, Brett funk, yoghurt, vinegar and oaky white wine notes. Mouthfeel is medium and with sharp carbonation and a tart, drying finish. Really great example of the style. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle, brewed and bottled by Krebs Brewing Company, Krebs Oklahoma. Pours a hazy straw yellow, an inch of foam with the gentle pour, some lacing. Big notes of Brett, lemon citrus, fruity tartness and oak in the smell. Now getting some apple vinegar. Tartness starts things off. A mix of lemon zest and oranges, Brett shines after the first few sips, oaky, cracker malt...complex and delicious. Nice lightish mouthfeel, excellent for the style. Dang this is pretty awesome.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2018 1/17/2018 (500 mL bottle): The beer needs some time to breath so that the nasty cleaner-like aroma turns to fresh citrus peel with a splash of white wine vinegar; cloudy white-lemon yellow color with a large, puffy, lasting white head; wheat malt, crackers (e.g., Saltines), floral, lots of white grapefruit, a twang of vinegar, dry, quenching pithy finish, bitter-sour white grapefruit juice taste sticks to the back sides of the tongue and back of the throat; light-medium body, very carbonated, but not fizzy-feeling; nicely composed and pretty good overall, but not really something that I can get overly excited about.

Bright and fresh farmhouse smell, orange pell, grapefruit, really very nice. Clear gold, light body and good acidity. Gentle and very clean finish, slightly dry. A juicy and wild flavour with fresh hop tastes. Quite nice.

Pours a light lemon colour. Awesome aromas of barrel, horse blanket, fresh citrus, lemon, yogurt. Tart lemon juice flavours, oak, funk, great hoppy finish. World class sour.

Bottle-Pours slightly hazy orange and very hazy orange with the sediment at the bottom with a very small soapy white head and no lacing at all. Nose of dry hops, citrus and lots of bright tartness. Flavors are very similar with lots of bright fresh citrus and tart grapefruit rind tartness. A very well done brew-simple and to the point in terms of a dry hopped sour. Finish is short with very lite lingering tart citrus notes. A very well done brew however a bit on the simplistic side. For what it is, it is very good nonetheless.

With Z. Pours a golden hazy color with an ephemeral white head. Nose is rich and deep citrus. Taste has a delicious sourness with rich citrus and grapefruit as the main star. Finish is sour and tart with rich citrus and a bittersweet ending ! Quaff Score 8 / 10......... 8-3-8-4-17
