ClarkVV (7294) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 27, 2018
12oz can, with the numbers 22372, assumedly a March 22nd, 1972 can, drunk 11/24/17.
Large, white, well-retained head tops a lightly cloudy-to-turbid (despite sitting in the fridge for a week or so), lemon-golden.
Sweaty Citra with a dough and biscuit character from the malt and possibly the yeast, as well. Rustic, even, with heavy mineral and tons of fresh, green hop (the good fresh, green hop). Pineapple and papaya sit on the end with no alcohol, flaw or any real sign of the oft found piney/twangy Mosaic character.
In the mouth, it's dry, malty-soft with lots of green, vegetal (good vegetal), spicy hops. Not very bitter but some pine lingering on the end, with more acid growing over time. Good juicy fruit character from the Citra, which is the best part here; when Mosaic is done right, it's a knockout. Yellow apple, pineapple, sweet lime and some mango. Great texture/attenuation and perfectly tight, fine carbonation. Wow, a 4+ Prairie beer...don't see that every day....

caesar (7562) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 23, 2018

Bov (13677) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 21, 2018
[email protected] Au Trappiste - pours a hazy golden beer with a decent head retention; light vegetal with fair notes of tangerines; quite sweet and with a good malt backbone; some yeasty tones stand in front of the fruits in the finish

Ibrew2or3 (9065) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 21, 2018
12oz can pours with a near clear gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangelo, clementine, a sliver of pink grapefruit and then some mango and faint pineapple. The taste delivers malt sweetened juicy clementine, tangelo and a modest bite of grapefruit hop bitterness. To midway a bit of mango joins in followed by a tangy tangerine note toward the finish. The after taste builds up a formidable floral hoppiness. Fairly solid IPA.
