Draft to taster at HopCat in Broad Ripple. Looks solid; a mostly transparent lighter gold with foamy white head. Smells good; fruity Citra and Mosaic hops alongside a mildly to moderately bittersweet backbone. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Enjoyable.

Small can at Matt's. Pours a hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma is yeasty with tropical fruits. Similar taste with some fruity bitterness. Decent.

Cloudy and pale. Bit dull looking from all the yeast. On the aroma, it's a bit yeasty, maybe a bit of floral hops. There is a soft, fruity note, Ends up without a whole lot of brightness... moderate bitterness and decent pale malts but the hops aren't particularly bright. Not stale or cheesy or anything, just like there aren't a lot of hops and the yeastiness is kind of dominating them as a result.

12 oz. can, pours murky blonde with a large white head. Aroma brings out floral hopping upfront, with yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is somewhat vegetal, with light floral dry hopping, dirty yeast, and herbal notes. A little messy, being too yeasty and herbal. Perhaps this didn't travel well.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with an orange hue an a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of citrus, grass and a light dankness with sweet grains underlying. Flavor has light citrus and grass with a bit of grapefruit and sweet grain supporting.

Slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice and mellow two centimetre tall off-white head that leaves a slightly funky lace on the side of the glass.Aroma of pure resin with a touch of citrus and grapefruits, but this is very resinous and 'sticky'. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit sweetness up front from pure guava and papaya with a dish of more citrusey and mellow malts right afterwards with some sweetness on the tail end from all those fruits, along with pure bitterness from the fruity hops. Aftertaste shows some dryness from all of the malt with a little kick of the yeast and subdued grainy flavours that team up near the end to somehow overpower the hoppy flavours which don't show up much near the end at all. Overall, a nice and very elegant IPA with a lot of different flavour profiles coming out at different times that makes this quite enjoyable. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 28-December-2017 for US$3,49 sampled in my hotel room here at Disney World Dolphin on 30-December-2017.

Scipio (1315) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2017
Pours a cloudy golden with a medium, lingering white head. The aroma contains floral hops, grapefruit, orange, lemon, and peach, though no element stands out. The taste is dry and has a sharp bitterness to it. Its heavily floral and has a strong grapefruit flavor. In support of this, I find lemon, pineapple, orange, spices, and a touch of caramel. The orange comes through into a short aftertaste. Medium in body, and with more of a sticky texture. Pretty tasty and solid overall.

Aroma: lots of citrus and hops; nice; Appearance: hazy yellow pour with creamy white head that lingers; Taste: smooth, sweet with a nice hoppy bite; not too intense but good complexity; Palate: medium body with long, lightly hoppy finish; Overall: very drinkable. Would definitely get again.
