12oz. Brownish see through color with little head. Notes of vanilla, sweet malts, and sugar on the nose. Palate has raisins, dark plums, Belgian candi sugar, molasses, toffee, and dank written all over it. Big bourbony finish. Little watery throughout, but it works. This bottle is labeled at 12% ABV. Drank today and bought today 8/18/15.

Rich brown coloured body with a slightly thinnish look when held at an angle and with a completely non-existant tan head that doesn't ever develop in the glass. Aroma of alcohol, whiskey, nuts, earth, pitted fruits, caramel, toffee, grain and a ridiculous amount of peanut brittle. Medium-bodied; Assertive, pungent and defining alcohol character with a lot of bitterness and warming on the initial taste with a big profile and deep flavour, predominantly from the alcohol. Aftertaste shows more of a complexity than initially with some earth and grain in the malt bill, a sweet and pungent nutty flavour with pecans and pure caramelised sugars are also around. Overall, a very pungent and deep flavoured beer that shows decently enough, but some off-tastes are definitely around, but weighing each of the aspects actually show a decent enought beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Spec's Liqour in Dallas, Texas on 01-September-2015 for US$11,57 sampled at home in Washington on the first 'snowfall' of the year on 09-December-2017.

Generalnie lipne trochę - dominuje karmal, suszone owoce, trochę pumpernikla i to wszystko.

Really caramelish brew. Not too strong on barrel notes but classy. No carbonation, nice color in the glass (dark brown). Some vanilla. Fine one.

Brown sugar bomb, tons of sweetness varying from caramel and turbinado to molasses and bourbon. Hints of plum and fig and cocoa underneath the sugary center, while the booze steals the show on the finish, leading to a warm, oak-and-vanilla-lined fade. Pours a murky brown with a brief off-white head and slight lacing. Nose is caramel, bourbon, and pumpernickel bread. Slightly boozier than most Prairie offerings--which means it's still head and shoulders above most 12% beers--but also a tad slack with the carbonation. Too sweet for my blood, but not without its charms.
