Dark beer with a creamy tan head. Nose of vanilla, caramel, smoke, raisin, licorice. Good, as most Prairie impy stouts are, but doesnt stand out. Pecan is unnoticeable.

TET (3320) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JAN 28, 2018
A black beer, a head is small and light brown. Aroma has richness of malts and sweetness, liquorice, some vanilla and strenght of alcohol, maybe hint of hazelnut. Taste has liquorice, richness of malts, not too sweet. Full bodided, slighty sticky, smooth. Good beer, but the final touch is missing.

On tap @ Be Hoppy.
Black clor with a light tan head, short retention. Aroma has notes of roasted notes, light sweetness, black ripe fruit. Flavor is slightly sweet, roasty, light coffee notes, slightly sweetness with notes of prunes. Dense and creamy on palate, light vanilla, slghtly sweet, alcohol hidden by roasted notes.

phaleslu (10957) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2018
12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a deep, dark, not quite opaque coffee brown with a small beige head that settles into a ring. Notes of vanilla, molasses, caramel, candied pecans, dark fruits (raisins, dates, figs), cocoa, cola, and mild roasted malts. Light-medium bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet, smooth, kinda thin and barely boozy mouthfeel. Almost seems a bit old, although it's under a year. Good stout, but not one of their best offerings.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Pours a headless, rich black. Aroma is pecan, chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate with a hint of pecan, moving to coffee. Finish is smooth. A really good imperial stout.

4.5
ardeo (631) - Flémalle, BELGIUM - DEC 29, 2017
Bottle. Liquide noir profond, épais, petite mousse beige.

Tap at beertemple. Black with light creamy tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, dark chocolate, caramel, pecan, hazlenut, moccha. Massive sweet and strong bitter. About full body and quite some soft carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2017 Bottle at What's on Tap. Overall I liked the stout but missed the nuttiness. Lots of molasses and dark malt. Pleasant overall.
