COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nod to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw color (maybe a hair darker, but not quite gold) with carbonation sticking to the glass and a thin head. Aromas are fruity (peaches, melons, mango and pear) with a little honey. Flavor is boozy and fruity... I don’t know if I would argue there is a lot of resin here, but I do get a lot of that light fruit and a little tropical before the ABV burn starts to take over. It certainly drinks hotter than 8%...

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 Poured very light but quickly on a Friday after work as I am batching it this weekend. A nice IPA with a taste that lingers.

can - no expiry date except this code: 14571. almost cloudy golden-orange pour with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. lots of caramelish fruitiness, spicy and lighlty piney orange juice, their bitter peel, some sweetness - barley candies and white chocolate; , x-mas spices, not-so-clean yeast action. moderate carbonation, medium body - very oily; piney-grapefruity finish. either old or oldschool or on american barleywine territory - or all of them combined. meh-alright.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma delivers resiny hops riding an undertone of zesty citrus. Flavor presents more hops and citrus++, while some fresh malt makes an appearance. Smooth mouthfeel offers firm body and some lively fizz. A couple of these and you’ll be seeing a phantasmagoria. (If that happens, please call a taxi.)

FROTHINGSLOSH (7901) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2017
Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a murky peach color with a large creamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dry and tart with a lemon presence. The flavor was tart and dry with lemon, tangy grapefruit and pine. Long lemon and grapefruit finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Nose kinda misses the mark, but otherwise a very good DIPA. Pine and slight citrus on the aroma, not pronounced enough to make much of an impact. Gorgeous pour, however, coming out a hazed orange-gold with a boisterous white head and tons of lacing. Starts with a moderate caramel-orange sweetness rounded out by mango and lemondrops from the hops. Mild bubblegum notes lead to a piney, herbal finish, spicy and dry, resinous with a hint of black pepper and boozy warmth. Texture’s...okay, moderately overcarbonated but thick. Thisclose to being a great Imperial IPA, but highly drinkable as is.
