GoufCustom (2302) - HONG KONG - FEB 18, 2018

355ml bottle bought at City Super in Habour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Looks: Clear light golden colour with a layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; One finger head with crumpety white foam which last for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with quite fizzy carbonation.

Aroma: Very fragrant Pils malt, with strong cream soda, white grapes, melon, blueberries, strong tropical fruits, bubblegum, floral, sugar, spices, dry biscuits, strong Bel yeast, lemon, lime and grass. Very nice!

Taste: Close to medium sweet Pils malt, with melon, perfume, yellow fruits, floral, sugar, spices, dry biscuits, Bel yeast, strong lemon and medium bitter grassy hops.

Body: Medium body. Dry, crisp and quite creamy palate.

Mouth Feel: Good Pils maltyness in a pretty solid and smooth background. Perfumey fruity esters dominates, flowery with moderate sweetness. Fairly spicy and Bel yeasty with strong lemon to round. Tasty and refreshing!

Hoppiness: White grapes, melon, blueberries, strong tropical fruits, floral, spices, lemon, lime and grass in nose. Melon, perfume, yellow fruits, floral, spices, strong lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is mellow at first, then strong in the end for a lasting, medium astringent fruity malty finish.

After Taste: Dry. Crisp, citrusy and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has a vibrant fruity aroma, perfumey lemony taste with Bel yeast dynamically involved throughout. Dry and crisp like a farmhouse ale with fruity hoppiness, this one is surprisingly good given the relatively low booze. Highly recommended!

Light floral hop aroma, slightly funky. Pale see through yellow color with a bright white head. Tastes light, a little sour, a little funk with fresh hops in the aftertaste. Very drinkable. Palate is oily but there's not much to it. Interesting beer. Would be a good intro to saisons for people who are not familiar with the style.

Bottle thanks to Dave. Pours out a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of some yeasty fruit, light tartness, and some citrus hops. Taste is solid, hops are slightly faded but a nice solid lightly tart fruit note, some grass, lemon zest. Solid
