glennmastrange (2899) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - OCT 4, 2017
Can. Light grain for the malt, moderate to heavy grapefruit for the hops, faint soap for the yeast, with faint notes of black pepper, coriander and tropical fruit in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, with with some slippery lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear pale amber. Flavor starts moderately acidic and sour, then finishes moderately acidic, a touch acetic and slightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a fizzy carbonation, and a tart and lightly dry finish. This is an excellent Saison, maybe not 100% true to style, but it's an exceptional drinking beer.

A middling Prairie beer, which still means its better than most other dry hopped saisons. This one is very fruity, mostly citrus, but with a heavy dose of tropical fruit as well. Effervescent and slick on the tongue. Tried with Sabrandy and Ryan in 2017.
