mcberko (16598) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 16, 2016
On tap at The Local Melbourne, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some biscuity malt and a touch of pine. Flavour is along the same lines, with a fairly tame profile, with biscuity malt and a touch of piney notes. Boring but clean. Solid stuff.

A mediocre but basically drinkable APA. Hazy orange, decent head. Usual tropical fruity aroma, but not that distinct. Flavour consists of thin toasty malt body with slightly dirty tasting high alpha hop flavour and not much bitterness.

Bottle. Light amber with an off white head. Mellow earthy and spicy aroma with bread, gentle citrus and some grapes. fairly light bodied, lowish carbonation. Bread and some toffee with a slightly surprising depth to the malty flavours. Some citrus but mainly peppery bitterness at the end. Theres something limpidly refreshing about it that I like but dont understand. Nice beer.

From bottle in Belgian Ale glass. Pours golden amber with modest head and aroma of citrus and a hint of spice. These translate through to the palate and make for an easy drinking beer.
