Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, sehr hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig malzig, exotische Früchte. Abijen (2572) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - JAN 3, 2014
Pours a copper beer with a good white head. Smells sweet fruits, hops and malts. Tastes about the same. Average carbo, thin body and a dry texture. MarcoDL (5467) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 21, 2013

Bottle 330ml. @ home.
Sparkling - Clear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a large, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, grass, light leather. Flavour is moderate sweet, light acidic and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, tart citrus, hoppy, leather notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy.
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear chesnut brown with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus fruit and yeast, leading to a medium bitter, yesty, red-berry fruit flavour, with some acidity and a strange bitterness in the finish. I was expecting more from this beer and they talked it up well on the label. I’m not sure what the brewer was trying to achieve here. He wanted to brew a quality classic IPA I assume, but this is far from what I would call a classic IPA because the yeasty acidity dominates the beer. It has that classic Belgian Dutch yeast acidity in the flavour. The only Dutch brewer that I have come across that has successfully made a classic IPA is Leidsche. Dutch brewers can claim to make IPA’s all they want, but they won’t ever make a classic until they truly brew it like the Brits.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, light tropical fruitiness, faint caramel, light sourness and light herbal hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light fruitiness and light caramel with light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish, faint caramel with light sourness, light sharp herbal hoppyness. Flavor is bit flat/lacks fruitiness. In the finish hoppyness gets bit sharp/soapy. Nice head, though. Jasperboe (4) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 2, 2013 does not count
Watch out for the foam. Some lovely aroma’s, but some strange flowerly side tastes as well. Seems to miss some balance, though the bitterness is lovely (not too much). BobEvers (370) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 9, 2013
Erg lekker! gunnar (9920) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle from Jan Tore, thanks. Pours hazy dark golden with a big spongy off-white head. Aroma of fresh fruity hops, oranges. Taste is super fresh and crisp, allthough almost cloyingly sweet, but the hoppy bitterness saves this one.

330ml bottle. Cloudy reddish amber colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, well lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma has intense grapefruit and bitter orange notes, a floral touch. Taste is bitter hoppy, notes of grapefruit and tangerine.
