In short: A characterless clean thirst blonde offering an appreciable cereals freshness. Ok.
How: Tap at brewpub.
The look: Clear pale blonde body topped by a small white head.
In long: The low-profile nose is basic fresh cereals and a trace of grassy hops. In mouth the beer offers a typical clean thirst lager mouthfeel with a slender body and plenty of soft bubbles. Taste mostly just fresh bready-crackery cereals, low sweetness sensation, some refreshing kind-of-fruity notes of lemon meringue and then a mild grassy hops presence. You can’t give a high score or a bad score to a beer like this, it is so basic, it doesn’t have much to offer but what it offers is freshness and drinkability. It would probably suck if it was bottled but fresh at the brewpub it was an acceptable no-style thirst lager. A bland beer but that’s about as good as it gets in Portugal, there were so few good brewpubs in this country that I had to spend time with my wife, she seemed like a nice person.
