Pinball (12060) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 24, 2016
cloudy yellow, fluffy offwhite head. aroma is slightly dusty, slightly wild yeasty, fruity as in banana, a little bit weird for a blonde, but then ratebeer says saison, that would explain). flavor is banana, wine gums, malts, spices,

Nez: Herbacé, levure Bouche: Herbacée, citron, épicée, légère amertume, sécheresse Du classique mais bien fait et rafraîchissant

rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 13, 2016
Hazy blonde with a white pur head such whipped cream. Aromas of malt, lemon, toffy, citrus hop. The taste is bittersweet, malt-white bread, floral and citrus hop for a bitterness well present, notes of spiuces, acacia and a dry finale. To taste fresh no cold.

VDuquerroux (1639) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - MAR 5, 2016
Bottle, 33cL. @L’Estaminet, Pouançay, France. A golden pale yellow opaque beer ; light bubbly (small bubbles) ; big white foamy head ; good retention and lacing. Fruits (citrus, lemon), herbs, floral, biscuit. Light sweet, light to medium dry refreshing bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture, average carbonation, dry fruity bitter finish. Overall, a pleasant belgian saison ; nice herbal floral bitterness. I enjoyed the fruity hoppy flavor but it lacks of body to send me to heaven.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 5, 2016
from Au Grain d’Orge - hazy blond beer under a solid creamy white foam; nice lace; bready aroma with notes of yellow fruits; creamy palate, fairly sweet; aftertaste of coriander, yellow fruits and bread

pivnizub (10561) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2016
Bouteille: Golden, almost clear, lively carbonation, small loose white head; dryish hoppy-yeasty nose, some fruits detectable; dryish - again - bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, crisp MF; lingering dry hoppy and fruity-yeasty finish. Yes, O.K. …

Ptichou (15) - FRANCE - DEC 28, 2015
Arômes peu prononcés, masqués par une amertume légère et agréable. Un peu épaisse au palais

KyotoLefty (10193) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 21, 2015
Bottle from Taniguchi. Spicy, tart nose, grapefruit, lemon, some honey, yeasty spice. Deep gold with orange and a huge head. Crisp, hoppy flavor, bread, some biscuit and honey, grass, citrus, very bitter. Great. Reminds me of XX Bitter.

3.5
Icedwarf (1616) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2015
Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig bitter en fruitig, licht zoet met iets van bessen. Helaas iets te waterig om een echt goede score te krijgen.

3.3
Alengrin (5235) - BELGIUM - DEC 1, 2015
Tasted in Ghent a few months ago but apparently forgot to enter it. Hazy golden beer under a creamy, off-white, lacing head; aroma of apple, grass, some peach, white bread; soft estery onset, smooth and quite crisp, gooseberry and peach fruitiness, soft bready pale malt sweetishness, lean body, medium dry finish with some herbal hop bitterishness. Very quaffable but another of those stereotypical Belgian blonde ales needlessly restyled as a saison for commercial reasons nowadays.
